XBLA Shoot-em-up, Sine Mora, Is Flying To The PlayStation Vita

By Ishaan . June 4, 2012 . 10:55pm

Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture’s Xbox Live Arcade shoot-em-up, Sine Mora, is headed to the PlayStation Vita. Exclusive to the Vita version of the game is a guest character from G.rev’s Under Defeat, Wilhelmine Muller.

Muller’s inclusion in the Vita version of Sine Mora will bring a new special weapon and new Chronomes, which are the ship combinations you can choose from in the game.

Vita download title (I hope so), or Vita retail release (I hope not solely because it would cost more)?

They haven’t specified, unfortunately. No further details announced other than what we mentioned.

I would imagine it would have to be a download title, though. I can’t imagine anyone trying to sell a ported down XBLA game at retail.

        I’d like to hope you’re right :)

Not that insane pricing for Vita games would be without precedent though.  Ubisoft did it at Vita launch with their sickening full price retail releases of games with much cheaper digital versions, with Dungeon Hunter (iOS, PSN) and Asphalt (which while not a true iOS/Android port, might as well have been).

    this is a neat surprise.

I thought this was a thing Microsoft bought exclusivity for, and that was the reason it was originally going to also be on PSN but ended up not.

  • LustEnvy

Yes please. My Vita is starved.

Wow, rather interesting choice that they got a G.rev character included. But nevertheless, this is pretty awesome news. Cannot wait to get this.

  • No

G.Rev is great, enjoying the hell out of Under Defeat HD. Sine Mora is everything I don’t like in a STG though. But hey, if this sells well enough, hope it gets gates open for more STGs on the Vita, a new Gradius or hell, Gradius V port for it would be wonderful.

    I love G.Rev but sadly Digital Reality’s Sine Mora just wasn’t my thing. It’s a beautiful game with an intriguing storyline, but pretty much impossible to play for score sadly o~o; Now if the game was rebalanced by G.Rev for the Vita, that might be something more interesting to me owo;

What, PSV but not PS3?  Sadness.

  • Barrit

Very cool! I actually was considering getting this on my 360, but I’m glad I didn’t with this new info.

  • Göran Isacson

Interesting- since I don’t have an Xbox I was afraid I’d miss out on this one, but now? PSV version, here I come to partake in delicious crippled buffalo action.
