New Super Mario Bros. 2 Headed To 3DS On August 19

This morning, Nintendo confirmed at their E3 media briefing that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be released in North America on August 19th. Further details of the game will be announced tomorrow at Nintendo’s Nintendo 3DS presentation.

    Can’t go too far wrong with an old-style Mario game.  I only hope they mix in some more nonlinear levels like in 3 and World, and have some challenge levels which aren’t just the original level but faster and with a shadow chasing you.

    Nintendo’s starting to realize that their fan base includes both people who love and people who hate difficulty.  They just need to get better at creating options for the former.

    Also stop telling me to take a rest when I’ve been playing for more than 45 minutes, and trying to comfort me when I die a few times. Seriously.
