Namco have announced a Wii U title, Tank! Tank! Tank!, which is a multiplayer party game where you battle it out against enemy threats and other players using an armament of tanks and weapons. You can watch a trailer for the game below:

In Tank! Tank! Tank!, you can either play cooperatively or competitively with up to four players. The player using a Wii U GamePad can choose to control the enemy and have the other players team up against him.

YES Mindless shooting game.  I’m serious this looks fun I just played Gungrave series so I am interested in more games where I just shoot stuff and don’t worry too much about anything else.

This is like Chibi Battletanx or something.

…N-not that there’s anything wrong with that!

Promising simple arcade. But I would have liked it more for 3DS.

Awww yeeeeeeah, TANK TANK TANK! (that will be stuck in my head the rest of the night!)  It looks like fun!  The big portraits remind me of the MarioKart arcade cabinets in Japan we tried that can take players’ pictures and impose them over the characters.  Creepy and hilarious at once!

^^ I have played this game on arcade and the game is really fun especially when we played them with friends.^^

This port is probably one of the most attractive for me.^^

A Namco party game? Hm, interesting. They did a pretty nice job with Go Vacation, so I’m admittedly optimistic about this.

I actually kind of like having one gamer control the monsters- kinda makes it feel like a boardgame of sorts, just in real time. The different ways they use the pad have been kinda decent, truth be told… even if I’ve yet to see something that really makes me starstruck with” Wow”.
