Ninja Exorcist Indie Game Inspired By Shinobi, Comix Zone And Bayonetta

Newly established indie studio, Nebula Games, are working on their first project for an Xbox Live Indie Game release in the near future. Ninja Exorcist: Episode 1 is the name of the game, and it’s a side-scroller that they say is inspired by Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, Comix Zone and Castlevania. Nebula say the game tries to mix both action and stealth, as well as exploration, and released a trailer recently:

Similar to Sega’s Comix Zone, you can attack enemies at three points—high, middle or low, and different custom combos are created by pushing the analog stick in different directions in combination with your attack buttons. Another feature, this one inspired by Bayonetta, lets you dash or evade attacks, but you can also cancel out of this move by tapping the left trigger. Take a look at the game’s controls below:

Ninja Exorcist doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
