Rage: The Scorchers Sounds Like DLC For Rage

Recommended Videos

Like all games, id Software’s Rage had some content that didn’t make it into the final build of the game. Among these was a clan of bandits called the “Scorchers”. Of the six bandit clans, the Scorchers was the only one that were cut from the final game, but information and screenshots of them are available through various resources and publications.

id may have plans to put the Scorchers back in Rage, however. Recently, PEGI, the European videogame content rating system, put up a rating for Rage: The Scorchers with ZeniMax and Bethesda listed as European publishers:

Considering that the rating was filed as recently as a week ago, it rules out the possibility that PEGI simply rated the game before the Scorchers content was cut. Additionally, the rating is under a new name that specifically mentions the scorchers, so this is more likely to be a DLC add-on or expansion pack of some sort.
