Tempted to make this my first Layton, though it was gonna be that crossover game that seemed to have, vanished?

    • Anime10121

Yeah that game has kinda fallen off the face of the earth The Layton vs. Pheonix Wright game.   If it doesnt show up at TGS later this year, ill be really worried.

    • First Layton!? No no no no no! Play the other 4. There is some story line to it. And that crossover… psh I don’t know where it went but I was interested in it and now it’s gone I guess. :(

I was beginning to worry about the lack of announcement of this game. I’m glad to know that I would enjoy this game before the end of the year.

Oh my god. I’m really loving Nintendo right now. Reason to get a 3DS XL +1

    • Why is this a +1 for 3DSXL? It’ll play just fine on 3DS?

      • MrRobbyM

        *whisper*  read my comment again.

        • I did and?

            “Reason to get a 3DS XL +1”

Implying I want a 3DS XL. This is another reason to get one. I’m not saying this is a +1 for the 3DS XL over the vanilla 3DS. This is a +1 reason to get a 3DS XL.

            *more sighing*

          • Why sigh. xD And since you wanted in the first place
It makes more sense. I just don’t see a need for it.

You know, had Nintendo announced half of these at E3, they would blown people’s minds and gained much more exposure. I know they didn’t want to announce the new 3DS because Nikkei said they would, but everything else is a wasted opportunity.

This so much.  Oh well, good to at least see it get a more official release, and 365 free puzzles is good stuff.

DOA: Dimensions also taught me that these kinds of daily updates really do keep me more interested in the game.  I was totally captivated by DOA for the entire time they were doing the daily costumes and battles.

      • kylehyde

I hope that more titles decide to take the route of DOA dimension, daily and free.

    • kylehyde

Yeah, this 27 seven minutes were more exciting than their two presentations (the direct preview to the E3 was good too).

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

T_T Hate to say but this seems to become a trend for Ninty here considering all their announcement of Ninty DIrect seems to be a much more interesting news than E3 or TGS in some way.

        • kylehyde

Actually I like the directs, in fact I think this is a really good idea. Of course, theres a doble edge on this, and is that they probably won’t too many surprises for the E3, but still, is indication that they can show interesting things. About the TGS, well, with the exception of the Wii presentation, they didn’t have any presence on this event during the last years.

You can said that again lol.^^ Even a kusoge game, if they are given free for me, i will take them proudly lol.^^

  • Is this the one that takes place in some sort of carnival? I wrote a Prof Layton piece way before the game was announced in Japan and took place when a carnival was in town, which makes me super eager to see what it’s like since I never finished posting after hearing about it, hehee.

  • neetyneety

Man, now that’s how you do DLC! Sorry, couldn’t resist bringing it up, but think about it, that’s a whole 365 puzzles + the potential hundreds worth within the game itself. I’d think that actually sounds a like a delightful deal.
