I may have just had bad luck, but I haven’t been very happy with Hori sticks.  My Soul Calibur IV Hori stick died on me way too fast (stuck A button).  It’s kind of weird that MadCatz TEs are what I’m happiest with, as much as MadCatz used to suck, but there it is.

That’s one of their lower tier models. The Hori Real Arcade Pros, and all of the sticks that are made with Sanwa parts are just as good as, if not better than the Mad Catz TE sticks. I used to use MC TE sticks, but switched to the Real Arcade Pro VX and V3s and have never looked back.

Ah, nice! I’m not a fan of arcade sticks, honestly, but that’s just because I’m used to on a console or portable. They’re a bit too intimidating, I think.

Anyway, I always liked Hori’s designs, and the I’m a Fighter slogan is really cool! (◕‿◕✿)

I used to be strictly pad (with the exception of trips to the arcades). Then when Street Fighter IV came out, some friends all pitched in for a Mad Catz TE stick for me. It changed everything. I moved on to the Hori Real Arcade Pro Vx and V3 (for the 360 and PS3 respectively), and things just got even better from there due to the top panel and how it’s very comforting on the wrist to play on. They’re a little pricey for a controller, but they’re worth it.
