Battle Real Life Pokémon Champions In Pokémon Black & White 2

Recommended Videos

As previously reported, Pokémon Black/White 2 have a World Tournament mode that lets you compete against gym leaders and champions from previous games, such as Johto champion, Lance, and characters like Brock, Misty  and Giovanni.

Today, The Pokémon Company shed a little more light on their future plans for this mode. World Tournament battles include single battles, double battles, triple battles and rotational battles, and using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service for the DS, more battles will be made available for the World Tournament mode.

This will be done by selecting top players from the 2012 Pokémon Video Game World Championships and distributing their Pokémon teams over Wi-Fi for World Tournament fight challenges. Further details on this subject will be announced later this year.
