Did Someone Order More Okami HD Screenshots?

By Ishaan . July 11, 2012 . 10:50am

Capcom have released five new screenshots from Okami HD for the PlayStation 3, scheduled for a download release via the PlayStation Network this fall. Capcom say that Okami HD will run in 1080p and confirm that the game will support both the regular PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move controllers.

Okami HD will cost $20 when it is made available this fall.

No, actually, I could have sworn I ordered a release date.

It looks like…Okami!  Not that that’s a bad thing. It’s kind of ridiculous that none of the media for this HD remake is actually in HD…

I’m really excited about this, but I already see myself kicking the stuff in my room and cursing while doing the f***ing trials of Oni Island..

It’s doubtful, but I really really really hope that when this comes out in Japan an an actual PS3 disc, it’ll have an option for English text. I understand the convenience of downloading games, but PS3 HDD can only hold so much. I barely have anything downloaded right now (120 Gigabit machine) and i’m having space issues the way it is.

Upgrade! I just went to 1T on my PS3.

I’d like to upgrade, but i’m hesitant to do so. I know you can either do a full HD backup with an external drive, or back up game saves on Playstation Plus, but i’ve heard of issues with certain game info getting corrupted when that happens. Like WWE 12 data. And no way am I redoing all the work I put into a game with that much editable data XD

You forgot the most important part about the PS3 Okami graphic! It has the option for the woodblock filter that made the PS2 version look so much better than the Wii version! I’m not seeing it in most of the pictures, but they said so on the Playstation Blog. That’s the part about the graphics that gets me the most excited. I thought that was an odd exclusion when they brought this to the Wii.
