Is That Lilith From The First Game In This Borderlands 2 Trailer?

By Ishaan . July 12, 2012 . 1:21pm

Gearbox Software have released a new trailer for Borderlands 2, showing off the world of Pandora in the game, with a dash of humour. It also shows what looks to be Lilith, one of the playable characters from the first game, with angel wings. You can watch it below:

Borderlands 2 takes place about five years after the first game. After the Vault in the first game was opened, the world was changed completely and gave birth to dangerous substance named Iridium, which began to sprout up all over the place.

You can read more about Borderlands 2’s story in our interview with producer, Matt Charles. The game will be released on September 18th in North America and September 21st internationally.

First thing that came to mind after reading Lilith and B–(Borderlands 2) was Lilith from Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! of course that would never happen especially with Hudson having been eaten by Konami. :(

it is Lilith, they confirmed ages ago that the full cast of 1 can be found in 2

lilith was the only character i played in borderlands, so seeing her (if is her) again is awesome. i also heared that ceo randy pitchford was serious about a ps vita version but don’t have the resources (liar! he does) but is willing to let sony handle the version. so i think sony should take the offer and make bens studios do the port. show hands for those who want a vita version! (°^°)/

Looks cool. But I just can’t play FPS….if it was a TPS I’d be all over it.

I believe those “angel wings” as you call them are actually the firey wings that appeared on Lilith in Borderlands 1 when she’d use her Phoenix ability.

Gearbox long ago announced that all 4 of the original vault dwellers were going to make appearances during the main quest.
