  • Looks alright. Chance of localization?

    • Godmars

Less than one percent given the current market.

Or thirty, but it may as well be one.

      • Why do you say that? Chaos Rings and a whole bunch of Square’s other iOS games have been localized. I don’t see why this wouldn’t be.

Sometimes you make a lot of sense

        what “current market”?
square enix has been putting it’s most original and creative stuff on ios lately, and they have become the staple for the “full fledged game experience” ios apps with the chaos rings series. Don’t see why they wouldn’t localize this, IOS is pretty much the only platform that square enix games are shining on  these days.

      • SE actually showcased this game at this year’s E3 if I’m not mistaken, which means chances aren’t that slim after all. Besides, it’s much cheaper for SE to localize this game, being an iOS game than it would be for them to port a PSP, Vita, 3DS, or home console game.

also taking into account, wether you like it or not, the IOS is a booming platform, while psp has been barren (in N/A at the very least) for a while now. its apples and oranges really..

……is that Haman Karn voicing the lady there lol.^_^ And once again……T_T Japan make me so jelly here.T_T

WOW!  That actually looks extremely awesome (although they didnt show any gameplay), even for an Iphone game!  Sadly though, the chance of this getting localized is probably the same of PSP RPG’s still getting localized at this point, slim to none (though we do get a couple PSP localizations a year, they are much more on the slim side compared to what we used to get).

I always wondered what happened to the Wild Arms creator, and wondered why Sony hasn’t gotten this man to deliver a Wild Arms 6 (preferably for a home console, but I’d take it any way I could get it)!

ummm chaos rings, chaos rings omega and chaos rings 2 have been localized oni-chan ^_^ and they are from japan

      • Anime10121

True, you are correct! Somehow I had forgotten all about those, and they were localized not long after release in Japan right?

  • Star Burial Dragnir…  Seiso Dragnir? A band called Shoujo Byou did the OP for this game. They are definitely worth checking out. Symphonic opera rock at its best.

  • Kitestwinblades

The narrator of this video kinda sounds like the guy on the Disagea 3 trailer. But heck r.r; I’m probably dead wrong on that one.  Well one things for sure… chicks with rifles are making quite the comeback this month.

I completely forgot about Wild Arms. I’ll probably play the original again.

Capcom should bring Last Ranker to iOS and localize it.

Imagipoch should bring Black Rock Shooter to iOS and localize it.

Sega should bring Terror of the Stratus * Shining Blade to iOS and localize it.

Vanilla Ware should bring Grand Knights History to iOS and localize it.

Konami should bring Suikoden (the latest one) to iOS and localize it.

  • brian yep

I love Wild Arms, hopefully this’ll get localized and/or ported.

  • Why is this game not on a real handheld? Christ >.>

    • MakoSoldier7

       what a silly statement that is… :)
