Starting today, Natsume are holding a summer sale on their online store, with discounts across a few of their recent games. The summer discounts are as follows:

Nintendo 3DS
Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove 3D – $29.99
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns – $29.99

Nintendo DS
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns – $19.99

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny – $19.99

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny – $29.99

You’ll also get a Harvest Moon tote bag (pictured above) free with your purchase.

Food for thought:

In case you were looking at the Nintendo 3DS version of Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, keep in mind that Harvest Moon: The Land of Origin is headed to the 3DS this year, and is a new game, as opposed to a port of a DS game.

is rune factory: tides of destiny on the psn? or is retail.

Good deal for Tree of Tranquility.

  • Those wondering, I have the Wii version of Tides of Destiny since it came out.  Controls use nunchuks but non-existent motion use save for like calling your monster ally.  Those wondering I notice many pass on Wii versions of games due to motion use, if you want to save the 10$, otherwise either version is said to be the same.

They’re learning about sales, that’s great. Publishers should work together to offer many deals at once though, instead of doing small individual sales.

because harvest moon the tale of two towns for the 3ds is so glitchy i still don’t think 30$ is worth it unless they finally fixed the game. D:

Picked up Rune Factory TOD PS3. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen it anywhere and w/a free tote bag to boot! ;)

Just as an additional note for those interested in Tale of Two Towns 3DS: Don’t get it.

Many copies have intermittent freezing, and given that you can only save when you go to sleep, may require you to replay some days several times.

It is a VERY shoddy port. I say this having had to suffer through the first day four times due to the freezes. (Before deciding the game was just outright unplayable due to losing progress constantly from the freezes.)

Tale of Two Towns DS on the other hand has no such glitch.

I’ll actually be picking up something not on sale, Magical Melody on the Wii (it’s the only HM game I currently don’t own [own it on the GCN] outside of SNES in hardcopy).  I’d been meaning to get it to complete my collection and loved their price of $14.99 (cheaper than GameStop’s used one), but I just knew they’d be doing another sale soon.  So glad I waited, because I’ve wanted that bag ever since I saw a picture of it.

Didn’t know glitches and freezing is content that’s worth 10 extra dollars.
