By Ishaan . July 25, 2012 . 9:00am

As reported earlier in the week, Hatsune Miku Project Diva f will feature a Phantasy Star collaboration in one of its songs—“Netgame Addict Sprechchor,” by Satsuki Ga Tenkomori. This morning, Famitsu.com posted screenshots from the song, showing it off along with the FOnewearl-style module for Miku:

Another song shown off by Famitsu is “World’s End Umbrella” by Hachi. This one uses a module called Memoria, which you can see below:

A third song announced for the game this week is “Remote Controller” by Jesus-P. This song uses the Transmitter (Rin) and Receiver (Len) modules:

Finally, the last song revealed this week is the new “Negative-Positive Continues” by sasakure.UK. This one uses the Hello, Good Night module:

Hatsune Miku Project Diva f will be released on August 30th in Japan for the PlayStation Vita. A PlayStation 3 release will follow next year.

The inclusion of Vocaloid content in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity is one of the many reasons I decided to get it.

If this collaboration is a sign of Vocaloid content to come, such as costumes, hairstyles, and weapons, for PSO2 then wow, we’ve got a lot to look forward to!

As for whether we’ll see that content in the International version of PSO2…
Oh Sega, why can’t you see that there ARE fans of Vocaloid outside of Japan…

Our diva and her family are really shining with this new upcoming game. I can’t wait! =^_^=

  • aoihana

All the module are stunning! I particularly like Memoria, and from the backdrop, it looks like the PV will be just as beautiful. I hope more collaborations are headed our way, not just in Project Diva, but I’d like to see them in more games, too! (◕‿◕✿)

    • ShawnOtakuSomething

      indeed ^_^

  • Lynn Mooney

I love this! X3 my favorite would have to be the FOnewearl-style module for Miku. :) and Len and Rin’s modules are awesome too. Pretty much all of it is awesome! XD

I doubt you could troll with a serious face too lol

    • Domii

Yeah you right lol. Although In this case I was serious.

  • Kevadu

So what you’re saying is that you can’t even be bothered to read a headline before clicking a link…

  • xavier axol

now, i hope to see some miku in my phantasy star online 2.

  • xXDGFXx

    Wooo! Remote Control! A! B! A! B! A!

      Left Right A B!

  • DanijoEX

I really like how Project Diva f is looking so far. But that FO-newearl module is really  epic.

  • Domii

Well, I saw Phantasy star in the headline, and I guess curiosity got the best of me.

  • Kevin Lor

Transmitter (Rin) and Receiver (Len) Reminds me of this anime *giggle*

  • Doctor Nebula

How to love this game anymore?
    (Oh I know, US version so I don’t have to pay $82 to get it . o . )

    • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

You won’t get an US version because Sega are a bunch of twats who don’t understand the potential of their IPs. I mean, just look at Valkyria Chronicles 3 as well as the direction the franchise was given~.

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

I thought here VC3 is already on a good direction there?

And not bringing the franchise here is surely the better business decision there, considering both the previous series does not sells so well.

        • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

No sales in the west <<<<<<<<<<<< decent sales in the West. Xseed offered to localize and publish it. So there was only profit for Sega in there~.

Furthermore, the argument holds less weight when we are saturated by Sonic games that, for the most part, sell horribly~.

          • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Sonic? Sell horribly??? They are the strongest brand there which keep bringing profit lol and it is mention by Sega themselves.

And about the “decent” sales, it happens after the game price drop which of course not what Sega hope for and VC2 sells worse there so nope the sale is never even decent on the west compared to Japan there.

  • James Smith

I wonder how many PS Vitas won’t be sold because good vita games don’t get localizations.

  • Sakurazaki

Costume below the PSO2 one is to die for <3 *A*

  • http://vindictushots.tumblr.com/ Okuni-chan

  • Nitraion

    • DS23

Vita JP release August 30th, PS3 release next year. No international release dates announced/currently planned?

      • Nitraion

I dunno sega seems holding back to promote Vocaloid game though it’s already famous if i say so…..
What about VC series i need ps3 series D: or at  make VC2 and VC3 HD version  *_*

    • Lynn Mooney

Both, the Vita version is gonna be released on August 30th 2012, PS3 version will be released early 2013.

  • NoOneSeesWhatWeSee

Well, that looks pretty darn cute. Unfortunately, I’ve never played a Phantasy Star game before. Shameful, I know. I’ve played a lot of jRPG series, but not that.

Perhaps I should play one now. Are there any games you recommend and a place for me to get them at?
