I hope this doesn’t end up like PSU where we have 50 dragon bosses

    • Luna Kazemaru

Only dragons we have now are this new one and vol.

      • Crevox

I am aware, I play the game, but here’s another dragon, and it could start a trend…

        • wharcraff

Hopefully they’ll look to the stars(zodiac) for inspiration for more ‘boss like’ encounters. That or any other cultures’ Folklore. Plenty of cool or disgusting things to work with depending on where you look.

    Hnnnnggg! Dat Space Tuna!

Damnit. I hope that when this comes over to the US in English for PC and Vita that we’ll get these too.

    • Christopher Nunes

Damn… I want to play this! Or at least try out the Character Creation mode!

This game looks sweet and I plan to get it! I loved playing Phantasy Star Portable 1 and 2 (wish Infinity got localized), as they were my first PS games I’ve played and I liked it a lot!

Should I go with the PC or Vita version? Isn’t the Vita version coming out later though? Or the same time with the US version?

      • Testsubject909

        Well… Go for both?

They’re both going to be Free to Play.

        • Christopher Nunes

Hmm… but I still have to “buy” them to play them, right? Unless it’s free download applications for the PC and VITA.

          • ezodagrom

It is free to download for both PC and Vita.

This highlights exactly why I’m going to be playing PSO2 rather than going back to that trainwreck they call Final Fantasy XIV. Rather than trying to hype the game with overblown CG movies that really don’t show anything at all, Sega is showing off what you’re actually able to do in the game. It’s looking more fun, fast, fluid, and frantic then ever, I can’t wait for PSO2 to hit the west in 2013!

    • Luna Kazemaru

You can play it now u know?

      • Jrpgfanatic

In Japanese yea, but I’d sooner wait and experience it for myself in English for the first time.

While I do like pso2 I have to say the things in FFXIV have gotten way better and the things In RR (A Realm Reborn) are very promising they will be showing more videos later and keep in mind they have had that cg trailer ready since may and were originally were goiJng to show it at e3 but decided  not too I ask that you research what has changed look at what they are doing in the game now as the last big patch before RR launches has just been released. You may have already done the research and still disagree and I respect that but if you haven’t, I ask that you try to keep an open mind. In the interest of full disclosure I can honestly tell I haven’t played myself due to a lack of a decent computer and the money to obtain one but I have followed this game since launch and watch a weekly let’s play of it and also look at the updates, patch notes and letters from the producer. The game has changed a lot from launch and will continue to get better but all in all this is my opinion. In short I disagree. I wish you a good day.

Well despite starting my online gaming experience with the first PSO for a few years, I played FFXI for far longer (about 8 years), so I went into FFXIV wanting to love it. In the end though I found it to be slow, archaic, and just plain boring. On top of that I spent $80 on the collector’s edition and they refused to honor my right of passage certificate that was included despite many weeks of fighting for it. So that was one hell of a bad foot to lead with.

I’ve seen the 2.0 screenshots and witnessed some of the changes that have come into effect since I quit FFXIV and I have to say I’m not impressed and it feels like they’re just trying their best to make it FFXI-2 which makes me feel very ‘been there, done that’ since I experienced just about everything there was to experience in FFXI. Not to mention I’d have to go back to paying a monthly subscription again.

I hope for you and the other remaining players of FFXIV that the changes are significant and it turns into a great game, but for all the above reasons and more, PSO2 will be where I spend my time.

Sure you can, you just need to keep a browser window with a guide/walkthrough handy!

Whoever designed that purple armor on the Newman girl and the Ballistic Coat should get a award for what he did.

I would play this game just for that 2 armor.

The emergency code there is still my favorite here.^_^ It kinda makes this game more unpredictable here.^_^

Here hoping that Sega will be able to tap more into that aspect and come out with more random condition for every stage. With that, we as a high level player will also find that some low level dungeon is not a bad place to visit as they had a lot of random boss there.^_^
