Inazuma Eleven 1, 2, 3 Coming To Nintendo 3DS As A Compilation

By Ishaan . August 9, 2012 . 9:15am

As part of Inazuma Eleven’s fifth anniversary celebration, Level 5 are porting the Nintendo DS Inazuma Eleven games to the Nintendo 3DS, and releasing them as a compilation.

Titled Inazuma Eleven 1, 2, 3: Legend of Mamoru Endou, the compilation will include not three, but six games. That means the cartridge will contain:

Inazuma Eleven

Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm/Blizzard (two versions)

Inazuma Eleven 3: Spark/Bomber (two versions)

Inazuma Eleven 3: Challenge the World – The Ogre (based on the movie)

Level 5 have tweaked the visuals across all the games, and also added steroscopic 3D support. Inazuma Eleven 1, 2, 3: Legend of Mamoru Endou will be released on November 15th for 5,800 yen.

In addition to Inazuma Eleven 1, 2, 3’s release, Level 5 will release the next game in the series, Inazuma Eleven Go: Chrono Stone, this winter.

Now’s your chance to find someone to publish and localize this in the States Level 5!

Better yet, I don’t even blame you, I blame Nintendo of America’s Mario Dictatorship and casual focus.

They can’t be trying to bring back the core audience if they don’t even localize games like this.

    • M’iau M’iaut

Inazuma 11 is a sports anime game and a sports anime game where the sport happens to be soccer. A sports anime that never received a release here. To think that localizing such a title will bring in the ‘core audience’ is really asking a lot.

A Mario Dictatorship or casual focus is not why we haven’t gotten the titles.

But Nintendo can release another Mario Strikers and everything’s all fine amirite?

        There is no excuse.

        • Mario Strikers sells because it’s Mario, not because it’s soccer. :P

  • While I’m not interested in this series, I wouldn’t mind seeing something like this done with the Mega Man Battle Network series. Every version of every game included in one single pack. Wouldn’t that be awesome? But yeah, I’m a fan of these compilations. One $60~ game having probably 1000+ hours of gameplay (based on what I heard about these games).

    • That is an awesome idea! I’ve only played some of the Mega Man Battle Network games via emulator but would definitely pick a compilation of that series.

      •  Yeah, I really like the Battle Network series. It’s my second favorite Mega Man series after Legends.

        • Never played the Legend series but the cancelled MML3 was looking really awesome. Such a shame.

    • LynxAmali

Didn’t they try that with Battle Network 5 on the DS? What with Team Colonel  and Team Protoman? With bonus stuff if you used the Dual Slot feature?

Could be fun if they did the games for the 3DS.

      •  Yes, it was called Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team DS. Or Twin Leaders, I think. Pretty good game if you ask me, but I want more.

  • s6_miller

Neat. Now if only capcom would do the same for ace attorney.

    • Ninten

       That would be killer.

  • Vampiric

    localize this please

  • … Its a japanese soccer game, the anime is only in europe, import it from Europe.

  • KotaroInugami

Hope this doesn’t mean that Europe isn’t going to localize Inazuma eleven 3. If they go ahead with this 3DS one I will be barred from playing it :(

  • kylehyde

I really wish that this compilation made it to America, however the chances are very slim, but I want to believe that there is still a ray of hope (Xseed, Aksys, Atlus, someone respond the call).

    •  I wouldn’t put my hopes to Atlus, this doesn’t look like a game they would release. Aksys, however…

    • Solomon_Kano

Aksys is probably our best bet there.

Y’know, I’m seriously wondering what the hell the purpose of Level-5 Intl. was if they don’t localize anything.

      • Johnathan Lenig-Lopez

It’s a bit confusing. They localize all the Layton gams, most ot the White Knight chronicles, etc, but not this. So it’s not like Bandai who blatantly hate us.

        • Solomon_Kano

I think Level-5 probably just looked at how soccer isn’t exactly as popular as what Americans consider football and decided to skip on it. As you said, we pretty much get everything else they make. Inazuma and LBX are the only major exceptions, and LBX was understandable, so I’m thinking they were scared off by soccer’s relative unpopularity.

Now that L5 Intl. is around I was hoping that might change, but they’ve yet to do anything (since Namdai themselves are handling Ni no Kuni).

        • puchinri

They haven’t actually localized anything themselves, though. And I’m not sure if we really understand what went on with the localization behind all those titles?

  • Lexaus_the_Alchemist

… F*** you and your region-lock, Nintendo. I would buy a 3DS for this, but then that issue keeps rearing its ugly head…

  • Will Jay

If this is just an excuse to not release IE3 on the DS in Europe I will go fucking insane. And then buy a Europe release anyway along with a EU 3DS.

    • Ninten

We might not even get IE3 after all, unless they decide to release it ASAP before the DS kicks the bucket.

  • MrKappa

Welp, I’m pretty sure they will be released in EU some time down the line but it won’t matter because region lock is here to “save the day”.
    Well done Nintendo, well done.

    • puchinri

Well done, indeed. But well done to L-5 as well if they make sure the game gets localized in the NA~.

  • Solomon_Kano

This would be a perfect excuse to finally localize the series for the US. I expect that it’ll see release in EU, but that’s not really of any benefit to the rest of us with region locking and all that.

  • riceisnice

I wonder if the graphics will be Inazuma Eleven Go tweaked. Or just slightly better tweaked.

  • puchinri

Ya know, L-5. You all recently opened an office in the U.S. Now would be a great time to put it to use~. /flutters lashes

  • anthony apduhan

If Level 5 can’t localize the game well at least localize the anime before the game (in America). So that I could finally have a chance to listen to Dante Basco’s soothing voice as Tsurugi Kyousuke even if I have to wait a long time for that to happen.
