Vector Racing Brings Wipeout-style Racing To eShop With Vector-style Graphics

Arc System Works are bringing another game to the Nintendo eShop in North America. Titled Vector Racing, this is a high-speed racer that uses vector-style line graphics. It’s actually a port of an iPhone game developed by a company named Sweet-Soft:

On the iPhone, Vector Racing cost $1. A price for the Nintendo eShop version hasn’t been announced yet, but the game will be available on August 23rd.

It has six vehicles and 12 courses. Grand Prix, Time Trial, Single Race and Versus modes are included. The last one is a local multiplayer mode, but the game has online rankings.

I’ll buy it if it’s only $1 on the eShop.

So F-Zero with vector graphics basically?  I’d probably pick it up for cheap.

(When did this kind of racer become Wipeout-style and not F-Zero style anyway?)
