So I just watched this and a bunch of other videos on it.  Colour my interest piqued.  Now, if only it was on any other platform.  Literally any other. Hopefully this finds its way to PC like Bastion did.

    • Kris

It looks even better at 60FPS! I can’t wait until Wednesday, I’ve got my MS points all ready. :D

  • Spirit Macardi

This looks highly reminiscent of games by Vanillaware. I’d probably get it if I had an X-Box, but here’s hoping it’ll find its way to Steam and/or PSN in the future.

And is it just me, or does the voice actor of the main character sound like he’s trying to do a Johnny Yong Bosch impression?

    • Letiumtide

The Microsoft Studios logo at the beginning pretty much states that this game isn’t going anywhere else. Generally speaking.

      • Spirit Macardi

        Doesn’t rule out PC though.

      • Lightthrower

It will eventually come to PSN and Steam, pretty much like Braid did.

      • Godmars

Yaeh, Steam isn’t entirely out of the question. Even though its more likely to show up on GFWL.

        With online/registration requirements :(

Have to love the way companies are treating consumers resources they own or are obligated to. Love them with a baseball bat upside the head.

      • Microsoft helped the developer get the game finished and for XBLA, which, given the resounding sentiment in here right now, is kind of a shame since most people I know interested in the game seem to be the exact people who don’t have a 360.

I’m afraid I have to add to it, too: I’ve had my eye on this game for years, and I feel a little pain every time I’m reminded it’s 360 exclusive, and has been planned as such all along.

Hopefully, though, the game will indeed go the way of Meat Boy and Braid and find that going multiplatform helps it on all fronts, seeing as I keep hearing that as a repeating statement from indies who make the leap.  I’m not sure how they’d pull it off with Microsoft leering over them, but exclusivity tends to wear off after a few years, and it doesn’t rule a Windows release out at least, but so far no dice.  Sad face.

I remember Kris previewing this and it sounding awesome. Seeing it in action, this looks simply incredible. Looks like it’s time to dust off my 360, I suppose.

  • Neophoton

As great as the game looks… I feel the voice overs are a little… cheesy. Everything else looks amazing, however. Shame I don’t have a 360, I’d play this.

WoW…this looks soooooooooooo awesome. Im definantly going to have to remember this tittle in future,I dont have an xbox as of now,but the game is definantly going to stay in my mind.

I… recognize Dust’s voice. I think. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard it, but he sounds like someone who used to be a part of “Life.1”

Edit: Omahdon is also there. I’m sold.

No wonder they released this one last. Best of this year’s Summer of Arcade line up in my opinion. THPS and Deadlight were also good additions though.

Hurry up Jet Set Radio HD and Double Dragon Neon! My arcade collection for 2012 will be complete.

  • RaikageV

    Cool, especially the dub.

  • Lionxie

NOOO put it on PC!! damnit..

  • XiaomuArisu

  • neetyneety

Just checked this out of mere curiosity, but damn does it look good from that trailer alone. Plus, that was some pretty good voicework.

Stylin’. And a long time in coming.  Going to pick this one up unless the demo is a total turnoff.

The prevalence of FPS/Sports games on the 360 and lower amount of JRPGS have created this wierd environment where I can buy 360 jrpgs used for cheap and indie platformers such as this; shadow complex, dishwasher series, infinity danger, etc. relatively inexpensive.

At least, I think that’s the reason jrpgs are cheap on it…Its great that 360 got this, adding more value to the system considering I have fewer games for it than my PS3.

  • time to let my ps3 gathering more dust like its having for over more than a year, and that break i should give to my 360 and 3ds will have to be postponed. This game is a impressive feat for such time it take one man to make.

i was just thinking about this game a few days ago, i remembered seeing it in production a year or so ago.  was wondering what happen to it and here it is. game looks quite pretty, must have ^^

Was I the only one getting Resident Evil 4 flashbacks there? Because I don’t think I was. Gorgeous looking game, storyline looks appropriately melodramatic and cheesy, and I do wonder how fast the game will be. I am interested, that I must admit.
