Paper Mario: Sticker Star Sticking To A November Release

By Ishaan . August 13, 2012 . 9:30am

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is still on track for a fall release. This morning, Nintendo of America announced that the game will be released on November 11th in North America.

Sticker Star begins when an accident scatters stickers across the land and Mario sets out to repair the torn world. Unlike previous games, Sticker Star has no experience points. Instead, you search for stickers around the environment and use those to open new paths or as items in battle.

  • I was originally disappointed in the lack of traditional leveling in this game. However, it looks far more addictive even without that so it’s definitely on my must buy list in November. Along side with Halo 4 and Persona 4 Golden.

This still looks like a fun play for November. Honestly, I had a tons of fun with Super Paper Mario for the Wii and would love a style like that again with returning characters.

  • AlteisenX

Finally a release date for one of my most anticipated games of the year.

  • ArtIristic

Im not sure about the lack of leveling, but I’ll give it a try if they release a demo. The system better be good, because I have been excited about the game ever since it was first announced.

  • Crevox

No EXP… why don’t they just stick with the RPG that worked?

  • This will be a honor to me to play this game :P lets see what whal happen.

    It was time already.

I love Paper Mario, but the fact that I haven’t seen any partners (aside from some very early screenshots) worries me.
