Looks awesome.  I hope Atlus announced a localization soon.

I hope so. I wonder if they’re going to bring the PSP version of Eternal Punishment over. Or has that ship already sailed?

  • dungeon crawlers are so much fun!
Often painfully hard but in the same way rewarding.

Looking great so far. The gameplay looks very similar to Strange Journey and I’m really digging the visual and audio style.

Soul Hackers looks beautiful. I’m loving the music, the gameplay, and the voice acting. I would love to see a video of the Raidou/Raido boss fight. Hopefully, this time we will get the chance to play the legendary SMT game that was lost because of Sony. Hurry up Atlus and give us a release date.

Maybe I’m just into gimmicks, but if this doesn’t have 3d support, like SMT DS: Overclocked, I’ll wait on this one.

    • I’m sure it’ll look nice in 3D.  Wasn’t the reason Overclocked lacked in 3D was because the gameplay was mostly on the touch screen?  This is the opposite here.
The dungeon crawling should have a nice deep effect and the battle system have menus and sprites that pop.

      • Micah Gajewski

Yes, the tactics field was on the touch screen, but still, battles were on the top, and they should have been in 3d.

        •  I don’t have this version, but the battles are on the touch screen in the original and I”m looking at screenshots for this version and they are the same way.

They could of flipped flopped the 3DS version I’m sure.

…Why? It’s an RPG, what does an RPG need 3d for?=O_O=

      • Micah Gajewski

         I bought a 3DS. I want 3d.

        •  If they localize this, though, it’ll be the first time the game is available in English. And it really is an excellent game.
