PlayStation Vita’s Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational is being ported to the PlayStation 3, this week’s Famitsu magazine reports (via: TaleTale Source). In Japan, the game is titled Everybody’s Golf 6, just as it was on the Vita.

The PlayStation 3 version will be updated with PlayStation Move support, and will support cross-play with the Vita version of the game. It will include DLC from the Vita version.

Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational on PlayStation 3 will be released on November 22nd in Japan.

I’m not sure if I don’t understand, but are you sure you didn’t misread cross-play?

      • d19xx

        Maybe he has cross-eyes. :D

  • PoSiTiV3tEnSiOn

    Cross-play sounds awesome.
The servers are practically abandoned on the VITA version.

    •  So we Vita users are going to play on the same server with PS3 ones ?
      If so then yay me

  • Although Hot Shot Golf isn’t that bad, I just cant wait for a Hot Shot Tennis for Vita

  • d19xx

One less Vita exclusive. But I’m sure this is good news for PS3 owners.

  • Repede91

    The Vita game had DLC?

    • Marik78

      Yes, additional characters and maps.

      • PoSiTiV3tEnSiOn

I double checked and no, there isn’t.
I’m assuming that it’s referring to that fancy multiplayer update we got recently.

        • Repede91

I’d like some new content. Maybe some will come eventually…

This is so bought!!! Hot Shots is a great series and I was hoping for another one on the PS3.

Good move considering theres quite a fan base of Club HSG on ps3, ive been waiting for another console entry, even if its a port.

  • theoriginaled

god I hope it makes it stateside. I love the hotshots golf series.

Like the news, but that means one less exclusive for Vita. I fear the Vita is going to have the same problem as the PSP. Alot of ports of Vita games coming to PS3. Long run, less incentive to buy one.
