Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is headed to both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita as a download title this year, and Sony recently showed a new trailer for the game off at Gamescom. Take a look at it below:

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (titled Ratchet & Clank: QForce in Europe) will have online multiplayer and Cross-Play between the PS3 and Vita versions. It will also be a Cross-Buy title, which means that buying the PlayStation 3 version will get you the Vita version for free.

But who?  WHO?  I love these games and I have no idea who the evil villain from their past might be!

    • sherimae1324

      hssshhhhhh…..its sephiroth….

just dont tell anyone, ok ^_^

  • drproton

I’m happy to learn that they’re back to the raunchy subtitles.

  • Marcelo Henrique Chaves

This cross buy thing. Can i choose which one will be the physical copy? Its okay to share? Like i buy the Vita physical version and give the card to my friend download the digital copy?

    • drproton

       It only works for digital.

    • dexter_lab

It’s not only work for digital, at least in playstation blog don’t say that.

      • dexter_lab

But dont know if its only “buy physical PS3 copy, get free digital Vita copy”.

    • Nope. If a game is available for Cross-Buy, purchasing the physical PS3 game will allow you to download the Vita version of the game for free.

  • I like how under the article the Ratchet and Clank collection in japanese is a called a Gorgeous pack, very misleading

  • Does anyone know if the servers for this will be cross region? I’d like to import the EUR version so I can get it on disc but it would be a shame if it didn’t work then with players in the US.

  • lorelai4cuties

thats sound amazing..i love the cross buy thing..im glad i have vita…never stop playing fer sure :]

  • Learii

the cross buy  and cross play sound good so far but i was wondering how online multiplayer work on this game

  • OathkeeperSoraXIII

the cross buy feature is probably one of the smartest moves Sony made with the Vita and PS3. kudos to them.

I’m not so sure. Yes, it will sell games, and it might help sell the Vita… But I’m not sure if it will help sell Vita *games*, plus they seem to be throwing these in for free, so I’m not sure what the financial gain would really be. I guess it depends on how easy it is to convert PS3 games to Vita. Though the PS3 would be the more expensive of the two versions, and I hear it’s fairly easy to convert, but unless it’s 95% automated, then I dunno…

Going Commando, Quest for Booty, Full Frontal Assault. I have to question what they’re thinking of when they decide these names :P

    • Ravage27

       Hint: it’s 100% intentional ;)

    • Laharl

Don’t forget Size Matters and Up Your Arsenal.

And Crack in Time was Almost Called “Clock Blockers”
      What could have been…

      • Mister_Nep

Oh wow I didn’t even know how dirty those titles sounded until you mentioned it.

    • Like a Boss

That’s the point. Ratchet and Clank’s taken a turn for the kiddies, but it’s good to know that our American version will be called Full Frontal Assault. Love these innuendo titles lol.

  • KingGunblader

    Persona 4 and Cross Buy…

BRB gotta go buy a Vita now.

  • Göran Isacson

Oh Quark. I don’t know what it is about that oaf but I never get tired of seeing him in these games, no matter how many times he screws up and tries to steal fame that isn’t rightfully his.

Also, odds that this villain is not someone who’s last name rhymes with “imperious”? Anyone?
