Sony will begin rolling PSOne Classics out for the PlayStation Vita this week, on August 28th (tomorrow).
As previously reported, not all PSOne Classics will be playable on the system right away—Sony are going to be making the catalogue compatible a bit at a time—but we do know that this week’s batch of titles will include games from MonkeyPaw.
MonkeyPaw announced this morning that the following PSOne Classics will be made Vita-compatible this week: Alundra, Vanguard Bandits, Arc the Lad, Arc the Lad II, and Tomba!
What other PSOne Classics will be available for the PlayStation Vita tomorrow is not yet known. Sony mentioned Final Fantasy VII, Tomb Raider and other titles at Gamescom, but didn’t specify just when they would be playable on the Vita.
