Hatsune Miku Project Diva f has five original songs in it that will make their debut with the game. One of these is “Sadistic.Music∞Factory” by cosMo@BousouP, and you can now listen to the song below:

A video for Sadistic.Music∞Factory isn’t available yet, but these are in-game screenshots from the song that were shared by Sega last week:

CosMo-P songs are nightmares for all Project Diva gamers..

Yeah.  This one is appropriately named, at least.  I always viewed his songs as sadistic.  It’s like they sit there and think how the song can be even more hellish to play.  “Let’s make it inhumanly fast…and put in lots of syncopated up beats…and vary the whole tempo…heck yeah!  Then we can make the melody mostly within a small band of notes so there isn’t as much of a chance of memorizing a tune!”

Tangentally on topic:  Does anyone know what the P in many Vocaloid producers’ handles stands for?  (If it stands for “producer” I’m going to feel very stupid.)  CosMo@BosouP, daniwellP, KofunP, and lots more I can’t think of off the top of my head.

Actually, the ‘P’ is honorific and in short for producer. But some without the P but still well known like OSTER project and DECO*27

Thanks.  I knew there were plenty without the P (my favorites: AVTechno, SoSoSo, Kiichi, otetsu–none use the P), but not what the P meant.  As mentioned, I now feel very stupid. :P

Also, from what I’ve seen the P is kinda optional in some cases, though certain producers always seem to have the P (like 40mP).  e.g. I see daniwell more often than daniwellP, though both are used.

This is going to be epicly fun! >_<

Never before Sadism sounded this good

I have a feeling this one is going to be brutal on extreme.  Don’t ask me why, just a hunch.

Really? Did the “Sadistic” part give it away?

I admit that I’m now curious as to how much ketchup you need to slather a CD in to make it palatable.

CosMo’s recent work aren’t impressing me much. Yes, I include this song. Sure, playing the song in Diva f will probably be lots of fun but I don’t feel like could listen to it in my mp3 player or something. But then again, any songs tend to grow on me…

I found Gekishou okay song-wise. I liked Shuudou Shoujo to Guuzou Shoujo and Haito Atelierista ni te alot but anything after that not much.

I guess I’ll always stick with his eternal Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu and his old songs

I have to agree with you on this song.  I ended up jumping to the middle to see if it got less annoying, and then to near the end, and just… gah.  I was kind of reminded of the songs I feel most contributed to the decline of DDR in the US.  (The obvious replacement by Guitar Hero and Rock Band not withstanding.)
