The next Professor Layton game will also be the last. At last night’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Level-5 CEO, Akihiro Hino, announced Professor Layton and the Legacy of the Super Civilization A, which will mark Layton’s final adventure. Professor Layton and the Legacy of the Super Civilization A will be released in Japan sometime in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS. Level-5 are also partnering with Capcom for the development of another game, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, which is a crossover with the popular Ace Attorney series of games.
Meanwhile, North America will get Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask this year. That game is slated for release on October 28th.
