    You know, I had a feeling it was going to be like a social game version of Peace Walker.

  • OatMatadoQuatro

    Cools pretty cool but what’s with all those stats? Is this going to be like an RPG?

    • Anime10121

       Well Peace Walker could technically be described as a TPSRPG.  It also had levels, HP, abilities, etc.

    • According to another website the game is going to have a card-based combat system, so it might not be in real time.

      Which leads me to ask: when are we getting a third Metal Gear Acid game??

  • Warning in advance, folks: No social game/mobile game whinings, please. We’ve had more than what we can take from a certain recent topic, and it’s getting old. (Also because this is Metal Gear Solid we’re talking about here.)

    You’re supposed to be sneaky in Metal Gear games, not social!

    Which judging from screens is just watered down Peace Walker. I’d definitely recommend playing Peace Walker itself, which might I add is an excellent MGS title despite mediocre reception u 3 u;; And judging from Ground Zeroes, fits right in the middle of their Big Boss trilogy they have going on >w<;

      Yea, it’s a pity Peace Walker didn’t sell more originally. I can only hope that people took advantage of its inclusion in the HD collection and finally played it. Critics certainly loved it and fans did too, so I hope more people continue to play it if they haven’t.

        Yeah agreed, honestly to me PW was the best playing MGS, I felt like Konami really streamlined and tightened up the core mechanics of the game, and I’m hoping future MGS’s take into account these improvements owo;;

        • Solomon_Kano

          Agreed. Ground Zeroes looks like it’s taking a good deal from PW already, so I hope it keeps that tightness as well. It seriously looks like Peace Walker on steroids from what’s been said of it so far, so I’m thinking Kojima will take PW’s improvements into account.
