Phantasy Star Online 2 October Update Will Allow For Sub-Classes

By Ishaan . September 3, 2012 . 11:20am

Sub-classes are coming to Phantasy Star Online 2 in October, according to a PSU Blog report. These will allow you to, for instance, be a Hunter as your main class and a Force as your sub-class, so that you can use Technics despite being a Hunter.

The sub-class system will be part of a larger update in October, titled “The Call of Mortality”. This will increase class level to 50, add new Photon Arts and new Technics, add a number of rare enemies an bosses, and more client orders.

Prior to that, new classes will be added to Phantasy Star Online 2 this month. You can find out more about the Fighter, Gunner and Techer classes in this report.

Never mind this comment, someone told me that western players were blocked and I blindly believed him.

    • ShawnOtakuSomething

you know theres ways around that

      • Pythia Brixham

Would you please enlighten me on the subject?

i just started playing last night. was unaware that westerners were blocked

        • ShawnOtakuSomething

Is it giving you an error or something else? Post it bro.

    • DS23

Um, they aren’t? Plenty of us on Ship 2 and elsewhere…

       lolwat I’m on right now

    • ah~ that, i do believe it was the hackers that were banned, not westerners, so… the one who told you that was probably one of the hackers that got banned and is raging

will this ever come to counsel? the vita has dips on it, but i’m not sure if it’s the same version as the pc. there’s this thing in my mind, about me playing a ps3 version at home and then keep playing it while on the go with my vita (at a starbucks or mcdonalds using their wifi).

    • Yeah, as far I know that is the idea. Both PC and Vita versions use the same servers and you are able to play on the PC and then continue playing on the Vita and the other way around.

lol you don’t even need to powerfull pc to run this.

I’m so excited about this game. Too bad my outdated PC can’t run it. I’ll have to wait till they release it for my Vita.

    •  Lol, same here. But I dont want to update my PC just for gaming. That is what my PS3 and Vita are for.

  • Hm. I guess being cut off from the party because of program conflicts and not being able to run the game worked in my favor in the long run. I’ll just dive in when the English version comes around with all the new updates and features.

  • Many, I can’t wait til this comes to NA. :( Though the PSVITA will come later, I can wait… maybe or have to buy a gaming computer.

  • Sweet!
