Earth Defense Force 3 Portable is headed to the PlayStation Vita on September 27th, and you can check out little bits of footage from the game below, showing off co-op and battle multiplayer, and multiplayer chat:

 

 

 

 

Earth Defense Force 3 Portable is actually a port of Earth Defense Force 2017, and has extra content like the Palewing from Earth Defense Force 2 and new missions as well.
