CyberConnect2’s charity efforts to support Tohoku earthquake victims in Japan are still going strong. These efforts, as previously detailed, are being conducted through an online e-commerce service called Gumroad, where CC2 are selling original illustrations for people to buy. All profits from the sales go to the Japanese Red Cross.

Four new illustrations were recently added to the catalogue. You can view these below:

  • Spirit Macardi

    Mamoru-kun :D

Nice to see the Little Tail Bronx characters, and it’s fitting seeing as Mamoru was created for spreading security awareness.

  • It’s great that they’re still supporting the earthquake victims.

  • Göran Isacson

Two things come to mind: first, I wonder how many ongoing efforts are still going on to support the victims of the earthquake. Is this usual among Japanese companies, or are CyberConnect just that genuinely good that they’re still chugging along when others have withdrawn their interest?

Second, what pun hies behind the “Monja” thing? I get that it’s a portmanteu of “ninja” and some other word, but what’s the other word?

  • I will gladly pay a lot of money if they have some handrawn concept art of the Dahak from Solatorobo.

  • Leonard Norwood Jr.

It is nice for them to do this for the victims of that earthquake. And although goran has a point with the charity, at least you have to give a company some props to plan a charity and raise money and lend a hand. Hopefully what they are doing will be enough.
