New Bravely Default Demo Sounds Like The Meatiest One Yet

By Ishaan . September 10, 2012 . 10:30am

The fifth and final demo for bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be released via the Nintendo eShop in Japan on September 12th (Wednesday). Once this new demo goes up, Square will take the previous four demos of the game down.

Square Enix say this demo will feature elements from all the ones before it, including the town, battles, jobs and abilities, but will also let you try out some of the game’s more recently revealed features like Ability Link and and Friend Summons. You’ll also get a glimpse of the town-revival system, which lets you add villagers to the game’s town of Norende through StreetPass.

Up to 20 StreetPass villagers from the demo can be transferred into the full retail game, and a new demo for Bravely Default will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be released on October 11th in Japan. The game has over 20 jobs that you can pick from for your party members.

Finally sold my Japanese 3DS towards a Japanese XL so I don’t have to deal with microscopic text. This’ll be the first thing I play on that lovely screen! I hope its a nice long demo, rather than random snippets like before.

    Either way, I expect awesomeness!

Ill probably end up doing the same. The only thing to look forward to on the western 3ds right now are first party games and the promise of info on mon hun. The psps situation is slowly starting to be emulated.

I really hope this magical game gets a release in North America. :D

According to others, recent statements from the developers say they have no plans

      •  You would be correct.  Either it’s a wait and see approach or they have no plans at all.

Square do your part, GIVE ME THIS GAME!  I’ve done my part and supported even some of your crappier games released in the West (Musashi 2 and Dawn of Mana for ex.), so you better give me one of the best looking handheld titles you’ve ever released!  Do NOT make this another Type 0 situation, I know that’s different circumstances, what with the PSP market in the west, but still.  I will NOT take no for an answer!!!

This is me at your office if you dont release this game  (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

  • Is there a list of job classes in the game somewhere?

Every time you post news about this game, I die a little on the inside knowing that it might not be localized. It just looks so fantastic.

  • The more news about this game that is shown to me, I so desperately want it more and more.

Yeah this will be a awesome game :3
