Nintendo Direct For Europe To Feature “A Closer Look” At Wii U

By Ishaan . September 11, 2012 . 10:30am

This Thursday (September 13th), Nintendo will be holding a press event in New York City, where they are expected to release further details of their upcoming Wii U console.

On the same day, Nintendo of Europe will stream a new episode of Nintendo Direct, where NOE president, Satoru Shibata, will “take a closer look” at the Wii U as well, giving online viewers a chance to catch the information as well.

The European Nintendo Direct episode is scheduled for September 13th, at 3pm U.K. time. Nintendo of America haven’t announced yet whether or not they will be streaming a similar Nintendo Direct feature or not.

NOE seem to be getting more involved in announcements as of late, which is rather nice. The time of the show is pretty nice as well, I remember the last one was on pretty damn late for being a European show.

Don’t disappoint, Nintendo, you really got sell it now.

Come on Ninty. At this event we NEED to hear release date, price, and launch games (even if they’re just your launch games specifically). Also, getting some of the year’s past third party releases is nice, but I already got a PS3, so I’m hoping to see some new third party stuff too.

Release date and price will be announced. Some launch games (like day 1 title) will be announced as well, but i don’t know if all of the day 1 titles will.
