Liberation Maiden And Other Guild 01 Titles Announced For U.S. Nintendo eShop

By Ishaan . October 4, 2012 . 11:55am

Starting today, Liberation Maiden, Suda 51’s Nintendo 3DS shooter, will be available for the Nintendo eShop in Europe. It will be followed in November and December by Aero Porter and Crimson Shroud, two other games that—along with this one—were part of a 3DS game collection titled Guild 01 in Japan.

These three games are headed to North America as well. Nintendo of America announced today that Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud will all be released for the Nintendo eShop before the end of the year.

No release dates for these games have been announced yet, but you can read more about them by using our Guild 01 tag.

Yes, the eshop is going to have much of my money this season.

  • Zonic505

WOW, that was quick confirmation! First Crashmo, & now these! Glad to see the eShop is getting more interesting games.

damn so much 3DS eshop news I really want it all :(…. my poor wallet

  • Marcelo Gouvea

Awesome! Definetly buying. By the trailers, it seems Liberation Maiden has voiceovers, right? I wonder if it’ll be dubbed…

    • In the European ND, the footage they showed had English-dubbed dialogue.

      • Marcelo Gouvea

         Didn’t know that! Cool! ^^

  • The only one I cared about, awesome!

  • Grenalie

I’d rather have the weapon shop one than Aero Porter but this is cool.

    • Liking just because of your Raiho avatar.

  • Göran Isacson

Wasn’t there a forth game, where you played as a blacksmith? Has that game been confirmed for release over here as well?

    • neo_firenze

Nope, it’s the only one of the four that wasn’t announced – Rental Bukiya de Omasse (Omasse’s Weapon Rental Shop). Though it might be announced later.

We are getting the three with the most notable directors though:

      1) Liberation Maiden: Goichi Suda, aka Suda51, of Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, etc.)

      2) Crimson Shroud: Yasumi Matsuo, of Ogre Battle series and Final Fantasy Tactics fame.

      3) Aero Porter: Yoot Saito, best known for SimTower and Seaman.

Omasse was directed by Yoshiyuki Harai, a Japanese comedian with no other strong connection to any well known games.

Out of curiosity, where did NoA announce this? ^^

  • Why no blacksmith game?
But I am glad these made it.

  • Muffum

So is there any hope that these’ll end up in a bundle after they’re all released, since they were a collection in Japan?

    • Highly doubtful. These would never sell at retail.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

^_^ LV-5 actually brought more title here. But i am a bit sad that the fact the blacksmiths one which i am more interested for don’t actually come here.T_T

Hope LV-5 will found this release to be succesful and tries releasing that one too.^_^

Crimson Shroud was pretty high on my “never going to see that in English” list. Consider me surprised.

  • Billy Kostyra
