My Vita is ready for this!!

  • Hello there translated wall of text.

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

my 3DS body is ready….to see me brain fart

  • Ty Arnold

“Will you choose to ally… Or to betray?”

Betray, every time. Except for K. Wouldn’t want to mess with that guy.

  • I’m very excited about this, but 24 endings seems like a bit much I think 6 like the last game was just fine. The good thing though is that I read in the Nintendo Power interview that you don’t have to replay the entire game this time to see the other scenarios and different endings that you can just jump to them ans skip text faster.

I downloaded the Demo, the game itself is no less than perfect. Delicious to look at. The genre has much to be desired with me. Even though I blindly support Sony, this game for me is like a Trophy hunt. I dunno. The demo didn’t grab me into Gamestop and dropping money for it.

    i squeal like a little girl i am(not)

Is it necessary to have played 999 first? Because to my knowledge that game never came out in Europe…. :/

    • Chris CCCD

Yep very important. I do believe this is a direct sequel of 999 so it would be important.

      • chiba156

There isn’t any need to play the first game to play this game since only a few characters actually return and the rules of the Ambidex Game are very different. Its also not a direct sequel but takes place several years after 999.

        • WingsOfEternity

Have you actually beat the game in Japanese to know this? I haven’t played it either, but I  can ASSUME at some point in the game(*cough* K’s identity *cough*) it will require knowledge of 999.

          • chiba156

No I haven’t beaten the game yet but its kind of common sense. 999 wasn’t released in Europe so people here wouldn’t know much about it on the other hand VLR is being released in Europe so you could assume that if it were a direct sequel to 999 they would have it re-released for European audiences.

  • GibbRS

Yay Japanese voice track, I am pleased.

  • SupaPhly

    I have a vita and a 3ds
but i’m still getting the 3ds version (because 999 is on DS :P)

  • negineBIT

My body is ready… I hope my mind’s ready for the puzzle too though :p

  • OMG I am going to be out soooo much money this Fall for all these awesome games coming out. Also I will ally like a boss. Then betray lol =P

  • Detrimont

while i will miss the english dub, i’m just glad i’ll be able to get it this time in my region, though i’ll probably end up getting the US vita version, so i’ll have both the 3ds and vita versions

    • Relytgninroht

? The demo off PSN had English voice acting for cutscenes. When playing escape mode, everything is text though.

  • GaiunxWolfenX

want a demo of this on my 3ds while i get the monies!!!! please noa release a demo… we had a demo for the model designer game so i hope this game is getting a demo too ¬.¬

    • TaintedSeraph

A demo is coming for the 3DS but it won’t be released until after the game is actually out in North America.

  • I lost count of how many times I watched this trailer again and again, in hopes of soaking everything up. I can’t wait to play this. I honestly can’t.

  • neetyneety

I still can’t get over the fact that it seems like Phi is Santa’s (from 999) daughter, Clover is, well, like Clover (also from 999) and that Zero seemed to skip a generation (suddenly being The Third in this game when I remember he was “The First” in 999). Well, I’m sure some of these suspicions will be answered (hopefully in the game, and not spoiled by some trailer, which is what I really hate in the games industry).

    • TaintedSeraph

Zero didn’t skip a generation. There were two of them in the first game.

      • neetyneety

Oh, now that I think about it… yeah, you’re right. Guess I don’t remember as much as I thought I did.

        • TaintedSeraph

Phew, glad you remembered. I didn’t want to post any spoilers in the comments. :P

  •  A fine trade-off for the lack of alternate voiceover options.

  • Lunir Malheur

    OMG… I just… OMG… I want it right nooow! Please we need a demo on the 3ds I just can’t hold myself… OMG…

  • Relytgninroht

This trailer was included in the demo on the Vita as well.
