This game is like Toriko meet up with Digimon, Pokemon and SMT there lol.^_^

To get the monster, we will need to use “Knocking” skill there which equivalent of course to Pokeball.

The battle system looks a lot like SMT series where our character will battle together with monster that we captured.

We also had farm to grind our monster there by Rin. Just like how Digimon on DS do.^_^

This actually looks much better than the one on PSP here. Or i am just burned out with the heavy number of hunting game lol.

Now…….. bring this game here BAMCO!!!! I wanted to scream ITADAKIMASU too.T_T

FUNimation are pushing Toriko out in January 2013, so there may be a chance with the anime and manga both having official presence in the English speaking world.

I haven’t played any of the games you mentioned, so I just see it as similar to Dragon Quest Monsters Joker as enemies you are used to beating up exclusively (see main series) can now be allied with and trained. The concept is a really good match for Toriko either way. Action and adventure is great, but what shows off the variety of monsters better than something like this.

Hope FUNimation doesn’t mess up the dub of the first intro (if they dub it)…

Huh, I was going to say that it was more like Dragon Quest Monsters like you  said. Hopeful we can get it but I have my doubts. Looks fun still!

I would be happy enough if they bring the show there lol. After all, by having the show it will allow Bamco to push this game just like how they push Naruto series.^_^

Damn it every time I see Toriko I keep thinking it’s a story about The Last Guardian. Three/ico, bird/child…
