Zone of the Enders’ Jehuty Comes To Life With A Large Bust In Akihabara

By Ishaan . October 23, 2012 . 12:10am

Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be released in Japan this week, and Konami have put together a large Jehuty bust to promote the game, which will soon be perched atop the Shimura Musen building in Akihabara from October 25th – November 4th.

On the day of the game’s release (October 25th), Konami will also hold a prize-drawing at their Konami Style Tokyo Midtown store and the Sofmap Akihabara Amusement building. Prizes include a Zone of the Enders poster signed by Yoji Shinkawa, a visual poster of Jehuty, and a premium pamphlet:

Another way to win the signed poster is for fans in Japan to take photographs of the Jehuty bust and tweet them using the hashtag #ZOE再起動. Participants will need to follow the official Kojima Productions Twitter account before they do this. Five winners will be chosen and contacted via Twitter direct messages.

IMO it looks out of place like its just there on the side of the road

  • z_merquise

That’s a nice way to promote the upcoming HD collection.

Just one step closer for creating a whole body replica of Jehuty like what happened with RX-79 Gundam.

^_^ That is still far far away there. If Macross is even not able to get their Real Life size there yet, i can not imagine other here.

Maybe Mazinger will in the future here.^_^

There’s a statue of Mazinger Z in Spain. The series was actually really popular in parts of Europe back in the day.

Ohhhh Spain must be a very cool country there.^_^ They had matador and Mazinger lol.^_^

  • Shadowman

I was hoping it would be just like the RX-79 Gundame statue but it still awesome though I can’t wait to get my game.^^

  • Nitraion

Can wait to drive anubis… XD

  • I can’t wait until the day where we all have giant mechs =^_^=

… I have to admit, I’d probably turn and run if I saw that. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that Jehuty NEVER means good things for the civilians around it. NEVER.

    man that’s freaking amazing!
I say they should’ve gone all the way.
    but man.. AMAZING! :D

  • Only in Japan, What a great country.
