omg!!!!! is this for real? on vita?? but… in japanese.. well.. /glooms in a corner

  • And people were complaining abt ATLUS milking P4….

5pb/N+ plz at least release one of those port in english so those who wants to play it legally could do so?

  • I’m kinda already playing Steins;Gate on PS Vita…

    • RaikageV

    •  PSP game running on VITA,
i used the UMD passport exchange program and they gave it to me for $5 or so

    • same here, I should’ve predicted this would happen…

  • Put robotic;note for vita out already so i can play it, okarin is tired of ports

  • MrTyrant

Can we touch Cristina with the touchscreen?

    • RaikageV

      “There’s no ‘-tina’!”

  • Demeanor

This is a VN right? I’m really digging Zero Escape, hope more VNs get localized!
And truly, the Robotics;Notes boxart was one of the best I’ve ever seen, can’t get it outta my mind :P

  • Hope it gets localized. For now we have only Zero Escape: VLR on Vita in VN genre on the western market, and my copy still at the FeDex office in Kiev (I’m nearly shocked, it arrives to Kiev from NY in just 3 days, hopefully I’ll get my hands on it tomorrow, from Kiev to me are just 540 km (around 335 miles)). Well so… hope for Steins:Gate, love to read, solve puzzles and additionally improve my English.

P.S. got my fourth ending in 999, two more to go until VLR arrives!

    • Two of the endings go hand in hand…

  • Great now you’re just missing 3ds to have it ported to all platforms. PS3, X360, PSP, PC, Iphone. Please localization!

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

Now we need someone to localize it. May I suggest a Kickstarter?

    • Ladius

As sad as it is, Kickstarter isn’t viable for localizations, as Victor Ireland pointed out during his failed Kickstarter for Class of Heroes 2’s physical edition.

      • Quinton Cunningham

Class of Heroes is far more niche than Steins;Gate. The Steins;Gate anime is just now hitting America and I’m certain that brings some interest with it.

        • Juan Andrés Valencia

I also remember seeing the show in Crunchyroll for free so it’s definetely more accessible than Class Of Heroes which is a very niche dungeon crawler.

  • Ceci “Ruzuzu” Kiyomizu

Coming to Vita? Count me in I really did enjoy the game but I never had the chance to play the other one I guess i’ll take advantage of this and get it on Vita.

  • Can we get the other two on Vita as well? And localized?

  • I hope they don’t mess up the movie by giving it a bad ending. Since I really like the original happy ending in ep 25. And if only this will get localize… Hey Aksys =P

    • Marche90

I guess we can try bugging XSEED too, after all, they are the ones that have localized two 5pb. games

  • SpecDotSign

Smart move. Hope it pays off for them. Hope we get this localized!

  • revenent hell

With the game having so many ports can someone explain to me how we still dont have a localized version? The pluss side is it being on the vita now gives me hope for an english version….please please please.

    • LynxAmali

Because VNs don’t sell in the west and there’s whole stigma with anime-style being ‘kiddish?’

      • revenent hell

This is probably the case…..and it makes me want to hit people.
Its predominantly because for as long as I can remember males are the dominating gamers in the states and most games that wish to sell well  aim toward that demographic of gamer and people please dont rant at me I know there are female gamers, hell I am one,and ones who even like COD but the fact remains unless its a niche company chances are slim of getting any great game like this the majority of folks simply wont buy it. Most people I know who play games either play party games like mario cart or rock band or Cod like games I actually know verry few folks like myself who play a veriety of genres so it is hard to sell and profit from VN’s here but I hope in the future this will change.
I did get my friend to buy Corpse Party, brought my psp to work and let him play it, apparently this is the correct method of getting others to buy the games you like and wish to see succeed

    • Quinton Cunningham

JAST keeps talking about it on their twitter with promises of news “soon.”

      • revenent hell

Oh realy? hmmm i’ll have to keep an eye on that myself now thank you

  • AndyFe

having recently watched the anime and becoming a fan of the series , it would be cool to see this have an English release. though it probably has a slim chance I would import this just to see it. the double pack sounds tenoing

  • sherimae1324

since the tokyo game show…..there are lots of game announcements and game updates for the VITA

and im very very glad about ^_^ the vita is finally getting more attention

    • アティ

  • Demeanor
