Vocaloid Lily Gets A Statue And Nendoroid In Japan

New-ish Vocaloid, Lily, has a new statue from the Good Smile Company, and there’s a Nendoroid version of her coming out as well. Take a look at the two of them below:

You can view more images of the statue (which is already out) here and the Nendoroid (which is now up for pre-order) here.

  • That statue looks very nice, but… I’m just a sucker for Nendoroids. :3

  • Xerain

Completely forgot Lily even existed. More IA please.

    • Kevadu

      Totally have this pre-ordered:

Personally, I like Lily’s songs, but the face for the figure looks a bit off…
On the other hand, the IA figure looks awesome. I have to say that her slower songs are extremely good. (Completely obsessed with IA at the moment >=D)

      If I wasn’t already saving money for a PS3, I’d buy the figure. Or maybe I will…

      • Xerain

I’m in a similar position. I’ve got a copy of Diva f I can’t play. Pretty soon I’ll also have a P4 vita case with no purpose.

  • Aerii

“Statue”? Wouldn’t most people call those figures? o-o Or am I just confused about something…? I was expecting some life-sized thing for some reason.

    • Exkaiser

Most people call non-articulated figures like this “statues” to help differentiate from articulated figures like Nendoroids and Figuarts.

      • Aerii

Oh! I didn’t know. Thanks for explaining it to me.

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

I feel like such an old man. The only Vocaloids I know are Miku, Rin, Len and Luka. Now there’s like 10 of them or something?

    • Kevadu

      There’s more than 10…way more.

I don’t think age has anything to do with it.  The one’s you listed are all Crypton Vocaloids, which are generally the most well-known, but they’re far from the only (and not even the first) company making them.

      • FitzpatrickPhillips

Crypton? What’s going on anymoreeeee D:

        Time to do some research

    •  There is over 40 Vocaloids, and you are missing out SO MUCH of awesome by limiting yourself to Cryptonloids only -w-

  • piichan

She looks like Luka, only recolored and fiercer.

  • Maia Kasoya

The use of clear plastic for the hair on the Nendo seems to be a sell for some people, while others a real turn-off.
Personally I just like it as it is, and I think it’s well done, on both the scale figure and the Nendo.
