Clan of Champions Brings The Fight To PlayStation 3 This Month

By Ishaan . November 8, 2012 . 4:40pm

Clan of Champions (known as Gladiator Vs. in Japan) is an arena-based fighter where you select a human male, female elf or orc character, customize their appearance and gear, and then partake in solo battles, three-person co-op battles, or 3-on-3 versus matches online.

NIS America published Clan of Champions for PC via Steam late last month, and soon, the game is headed to the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 as well. In North America, Clan of Champions will hit PSN on November 20th.

Europe will get the game at a later date.

This looks pretty good…… now if only i can get 2 of my friends to get it with me

    • Budgiecat

I played the Japanese demo. That had online too

  • even the mods/employees at nis america say picking up this game for the money it took was a huge mistake. That doesnt put the confidence in me

It’s like Last Rebellion all over again.

      • Elvick

I actually like that game. Despite it being horribly designed, and overall not very good.

        • Like last rebellion they will end up apologizing for it and then announcing god paradox and disgaea dimension localizations which would make it up for me

          • Budgiecat

            I platinumed Last Rebellion lol

          • *shutters*

I turned it on, thats as far as I got

          • Elvick

Not like it’s hard. Once you get over the hump of difficulty from the poorly balanced experience handouts from bosses, you’re good to skate through the rest.

  • CirnoLakes

This game looks shockingly Western, by post Nippon Ichi software and Acquire’s standards.

Anyway, I’ve little interest in this game personally. Though Steam sales have had me buy stranger things. I’m certainly not getting it on the PlayStation 3.

  • $30632660

This thing is 40 bucks on steam when it looks like a 10 dollar game. From the looks of the forums on Steam, no one wants this game.

If only Way of the Samurai 4 was released on Steam, I’d jump in head first.

  • Elvick

Way back when this was announced (for 360 as well at the time), I had no interest. I still don’t.

It doesn’t look interesting to me. Looks pretty lame. It makes me sad, I love supporting NIS America, but I just can’t do that here.

  • This game didn’t really jump out at me when I saw it appear on Steam a little while ago.  Maaaaybe if it gets a deep discount at a Steam sale I’ll try it, otherwise I think I’ll pass.

      >Maaaaybe if it gets a deep discount at a Steam sale
Yeah, I think that’s what a lot of us are thinking exactly.

The PC port looks absolutely horrendous (Even the screenshots in the Steam page come from a trial screen capture software) but I might get it if the price is low enough. Sadly, it’s 40 bucks on Steam and it’s a 2 year old game :/
