Keiji Inafune’s new platformer starring you as the superhero president of the United States was released for iOS devices a couple of weeks ago, but in case you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, here’s a promo video that shows it in action:

J.J. Rockets is published by Marvelous AQL, who are also the publisher of Inafune’s KAIO: King of Pirates on the Nintendo 3DS and are collaborating with him on Soul Sacrifice for the PlayStation Vita.

It is on Android, but Japan only right now.

  • I love how he jumps in the phone booth to change weapons. XD

  • LOL Iron Old Bat! Love it XD

  • CirnoLakes

So…. it’s Mega Man meets Captain America?

    • Alexander Kim

Mega Man meets Metal Wolf Chaos, really.

      • All three from the looks of it to me.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

All the boss names is giving the same vibe as the Genesis and Snes era lol. Funny and Absurd name lol.

  • Göran Isacson

Gotta admit that the boss-fight didn’t exactly look very engaging to me. He just jumped, shot and switched weapons. LOOKS gorgeous, but not very exciting.

Why am I not finding this on the appstore. If its a Japanese only release then that shouldn’t be a secret.

  • isfuturebright

I sooooooo wanna play this :(

  • revenent hell

Im definantly going to have to read some reviews about what people think of this game….though I  dont think off hand ive ever read an iOS game review.
Im just curious as to how good people will say this game is or not.

  • leeorv

This looks like it’s controlled as an endless runner? That kind brings it down in my opinion.

    • Elvick

Oh please. You know if it were a “real game” it would control horribly. Look at the Mega Man games on mobile. Yuck.

They designed it with the platform in mind. Which makes it better than a shoehorned ‘real’ game with awful virtual buttons.

I tried to download this but App Store wouldn’t let me. I had no issue downloading Petite Rock Shooter, so I don’t understand what the issue was; anyone succeed?
