    Hakumen! That badass

  • neetyneety

I don’t know why… but hearing Hakumen and Tsubaki’s voices suddenly made me think of Okabe Rintarou and Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate. Maybe it’s just Hakumen’s arrogant, confident tone and Tsubaki’s somewhat panicked one.

Tsubaki is indeed voiced by Asami Imai who voiced Kurisu-tina. Hakumen is voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara though.

    • sonicgamer07

Kurisu and Tsubaki are both voiced by Asami Imai. That’s why I love turning on Japanese voices.

    • XiaomuArisu

Hakumens voice is Simon from Gurren LagannXD

  • andref

Like the music definitely gets me in a good mood but the games always had a good flair. Still listening to the first games soundtrack but wonder why kokonoe looks so young

  • ivanchu77

I skipped to the end of the video expecting a epic fight with the Imperator or Izayoi, but instead i got trolled by Hazama -_-

    meh

    • Luna Kazemaru

oh come on you know they put the real boss fight in the console versions.

      • andref

Or the true end path in story mode after beating all the other characters’ story paths

        • Luna Kazemaru

No they save it for the console versions other wise you have no reason to get the console version and we would have saw true end videos months before arcade releases.

          • andref

I know I’m just saying we won’t see the bosses until the true end

          • Luna Kazemaru

Ah i may have read your comment wrong

          • Takuma Popper

“No reason to get the console version”  You do know most people just play Blazblue for the fighting game aspects right?  I mean it’s got a followable story but…that’s not the main or close to the main selling point of it.

          • psycho_bandaid

a lot of people don’t play it online and just buy it for the story mode.  At least my friends and I do anyway.

Having watched some actual fighting footage, I have to say I’m really excited with the direction BB is headed. Not only are the fights more up to speed like GG, but the story and new characters make me even more interested in keeping up with it.

    DAT SOUNDTRACK!

“Included at the end of the video is an appearance by Nu-13, who’s back to face off against her favourite obsession”

And she will do it….WITH FUNNELS!

    • Mr_SP

They’re more like Sword Fangs… Mu is the one with Bits.

      • LynxAmali

Design-wise, its more like Hi-Nus funnels.

Function wise, Sword Bits from 00.

  • psycho_bandaid

Am I the only person that is sad that Hakumen hasn’t done his speech since the first game?

    “I am the white void…”

    • cameron forsyth

he does it in his acrade mode of CS

      • psycho_bandaid

…I’ll go play it immediately then.

  • Darkrise

Dat Terumi laugh! And how the hell does Ragna know about Tsubaki? They never encountered each other, did they?

    • Crok425

They did but not for long. In the end of Continuum Shift he sees her along with Litchi protecting Hazama and the Imperator.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

The new background music sounds really nice.^_^ Thats what Chrono Phantasma should be.^_^

  • Yuriangels

oh Kokonoe, why don’t you fight for ones!!

    • SirTeffy

There are still two unrevealed Arcade characters, plus the inevitable console roster expansion…

      • Astrotrain

The “unrevealed” arcade characters are Nu-13, Mu-12 and Izayoi.

        • Arcana Wiz

no THERE ARE still two unrevealed characrters that will come together with Izayoi at arcades in Japan (they are time locked) , then will be a upgraded roster console version. SPOILERS: Maybe cecilia because she is hinted in the novels to be playable, Maybe kokonoe because she is hinted at Valkenhayn Help me Professor Kokonoe, maybe Jubei and the Imperator (I wrote imperator because is obvious that she is being controled by something) because I read somewhere that they were hinted to be playable in Japan)

  • Peter Le

Oh god they actually re-recorded the bgm… Hype levels going through the roof!

  • Foofin Around

Besides the fact that I have no idea what’s being said, I’m loving this video.  My only question… *adds screenshot* Do we have any idea as to what that might be at 11:02?

    • Ben Tan

       izayoi

    • herolove

Then we saw it in the last trailer I guessed it was Amaterasu.
But it should have something to do with the nemesishorizon Hazamas talking about.

  • herolove

This was very fun to watch and tire too actually understand wile only knowing a fraction of the words (all learned by watching anime).
If I understand that part of Rangas conversation with Tsubaki right (witch I probably don’t) Izayoi is a Murakumo prototype, witch was my guess then the character was announced.

  • colorblindnightmare

UGHHHHH. The Remixed music is starting to get my blood boiling here. I still need to hear The three new characters themes. Looking forward to getting my hands on this.
