*sigh* I need to say that I’m really excited for Tales of Xillia to be released here in America, but I’m still mad that this and Tales of Innocence R (although I didn’t care for the original) won’t be headed here. The Vita’s reputation coupled with the way folks view JRPGs these days is truly dis”heart”ening. Ah well, back to studying Japanese so I can play this someday.

wait is it confirmed already we arent getting the second Vita Tales too ?
Didnt Baba say us and eu fans will play a lot more Tales Games?
I thought he meant this game because it was announced shortly after the interview T T

and because it is baba’s favorite game so far, anyone would think he would get this game to the west

He didn’t say anything except that he wants us to play it. Whether it will be localize or not is a different story. That ultimately depends on well Xillia 1 does. However, I can see both Xillia 2 and Hearts R being localize if it does well. They might want to test the Vita’s market (lol) to see how well it does with Hearts R. I certainly hope it gets localize. It’s the one Tales games besides Destiny R and Rebirth that I really was localize.

Would make more sense to establish tales with the lesser of the two first. Innocence R. Then Hearts R will do better, because the series will be established there.

If they want to go for the long haul, that’s what they should do. But it’s Namco, so it’ll probably be like always.

Good god my ears………beryl sounds terrible >__< The others sound fine though. Looking forward to this defiantly going to import it.

I had great hopes and admiration for Namco developed or published games that had cartoonish cell shading graphics.

But after Dream Club 0, I don’t remember any new series going in this direction. The only series still using them is NSUNS (DBZ looks less cartoony since RB2).

I guess after Trusty Bell and Tales of Vesperia Namco decided that their RPGs cell shading had to look more realistic. A pity, I wish the To series would use cartoony cell shading again…

The Vita clearly can do beautiful cell shading… :(

Beryl sounds too different from how I remembered her voice was. o.O

    • IsaacGravity

Sounds the same to me. As scratchy and loud as ever. Wouldn’t have it any other way really~ EDIT: It’s Kunzite who sounds a bit different for me.

Her voice sounds a bit too deep this time. Especially on that part where she’s screaming.

Wow it’s like a complete remake… I really liked this for the NDS so I’d get this if they brough it over… which I find it veeery hard.

If this, Innocence R, and Ys4 get released in America, I’ll be the first in line to buy a  Vita. Otherwise, it can continue floundering.
