Megpoid the Music’s Opening Movie Puts The Spotlight On Gumi

ParaPhray’s Megpoid the Music game puts the spotlight squarely on Gumi, the mascot of the Megpoid software. The PSP game is slated for release in Spring 2013, and Paraphray have shared its opening video:



Megpoid the Music includes songs like Love Will Surely Soar, Meg Meg ☆ Fire Endless Night, Killer Lady, Rosetta, and It’s Raining. Players will be able to customize Gumi with different outfits, too.

    Those animations are really clean, even more so than some of PD: Extend’s. That said, it doesn’t touch PD:f, so it’s going to need a killer soundtrack or really enticing gameplay to struggle itself a place in the genre.

      It doesn’t need to be on the same level as Project Diva f, as it’s on the PSP and not the Vita. Amazing for a PSP game should be good enough for a PSP game.
