Word Gathering Platformer, Page Chronica, Out This Week; See It Inside

PlayStation 3 platformer, Page Chronica, has you capturing letters to spell magic words that give you different spells and attacks. Developed by Red Hare Entertainment, the game is slated for release this Tuesday on PlayStation Network, and you can watch a new trailer for it below:

 

 

As previously reported, Page Chronica is adapted from a final year university project that the game’s designer, Qing Xiang Ho, worked on. You can read more about the game in our interview with the developers.

    I wonder… how the word spelled determine the magic/attack…

    Hmm. Looks like you’re confined to just using letters that the screen “provides you” with, not too sure what to think about that… I presume that means the words are mostly nonsense words, since it didn’t look like you could always have enough letters to actually SPELL something.
