Crimson Shroud Covers Nintendo eShop; Rayman Legends Gets A Demo

Nintendo 3DS eShop Update:

 

This week’s Nintendo eShop download is Crimson Shroud, an RPG by Tactics Ogre creator, Yasumi Matsuno, that emulates the experience of a tabletop game. You can read more about the game in our playtest. Crimson Shroud costs $7.99.

 

Meanwhile, Shin’en’s Art of Balance Touch! has a free downloadable demo for 3DS users to try out, and is accompanied by another new eShop game titled Gardenscapes. This is a combination of a hidden object game and a building strategy game, where you have to restore your garden to its former glory. Gardenscapes costs $7.99. Also available is a demo for Adventure Time: Hey Ice King why’d you steal our garbage?!! by WayForward.

 

On the Virtual Console front, Ninja Gaiden (NES) is available for the 3DS Virtual Console.  We recently took that game for a spin, too, and you can read about it here. Ninja Gaiden costs $4.99.

 

Wii U eShop Update:

 

The Wii U gets free downloadable demos of Rayman Legends and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed this week. Additionally, Batman: Arkham City is now available as a retail download from the Wii U eShop.

European eShop Update:

The Nintendo eShop in Europe gets Hydroventure: Spin Cycle (known as Fluidity: Spin Cycle in the U.S.) for 3DS this week. The game is a follow-up to Fluidity on WiiWare and has you controlling a body of liquid in its various forms to get through the game’s story-themed stages and puzzles. It costs €9.99/£8.99. Joining it is Crimson Shroud, which is available today in Europe, too, for €7.99/£7.19.

 

Meanwhile, on the 3DS Virtual Console, Nintendo have discounted Metroid and Metroid II: Return of Samus. You can grab Metroid for €3.49/£3.19 and Metroid II for €2.99 / £2.69.

 

Finally, the Wii U eShop has a downloadable demo for Rayman Legends in Europe as well.
