that great is was weary about getting this with 30fps

  • Okay, I’ll preorder this XD
I’d like a physical copy if possible. I didn’t want to play this game on a console >_<

    • MasterHiei

Judging by your avatar and use of those silly emoticons, I can see well the audience Ninja Theory is trying to appeal to.

      • Kaihedgie

So apparently fans of the original DMC series, the same series with disjointed, nonsensical and plain average storylines that they fiercely defend and label as cheesy good are somehow intellectually greater than fans of the new DmC…who might actually know what a good story is.

If you hate this game so much, why do you bother coming here? What’s the point? What do you get out of it? Do you want a medal of honor from Kamiya or something?

        • puchinri

Insulting one group to support the other doesn’t entirely help. That was about as bad as his comment.

          • Kaihedgie

How am I insulting one group to support another? I just didn’t like his comment

          • puchinri

You kind of slandered the original games (for no reason whatsoever) and bring up the intellect and taste of the original fans as a way to show them to be “lower” than fans of DmC and say that DmC fans are the ones who probably know what a good story is. That’s a very backhanded insult at best, an obvious and rude insult at worse. (Also, DmC probably wouldn’t exist without DMC, so no reason to trash on the original games.)

          • Kaihedgie

How is it “for no reason” when the original comment was slandering this one?

It kinda sounds like you were ignoring his entire comment and only saw my comment and then posted from there: “Judging by your avatar and use of those silly emoticons, I can see well the audience Ninja Theory is trying to appeal to.” This here heavily implies that apparently this game would only appeal to idiots and the very vocal minority heavily opposed to this game just love insulting everything about this game and those who want it, whether or not they’re already familiar with the original series, to the point that any valid complaints are buried under really silly criticism.

Actually, it probably can since, like the original series, this is based on the Divine Comedy with its own twists.

          • puchinri

It’s for no reason because you did not need to slander anything. An eye for an eye, ya know?

You could take the higher stance/road and “rebuke” them politely, which would make the DmC fans/positive outlookers look better as a whole, but it doesn’t look better (or good at all) to take the same route.

Personally, I do not really enjoy the route the game is taking (for it to be based on DMC) nor do I appreciate the attitude or things said by Tameem early in, but I’m not going to bash the game (or entirely condone it). But for those that are looking forward to it and trying to look better than those against it, it doesn’t look great to insult the original games and its fans.

fill your dark soul with liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! comes to mind hahahahaha

      • Luna Kazemaru

        Nice fail there bro.

      • Just dropping in here to give you a warning. Your last few comments have been complete poop. Please take a good look at our commenting rules/guidelines before you post any more.

(Specifically the part about snarky one-liners and not providing any sort of basis for negative comments.)

        • MasterHiei

Sorry Mod, I’ll be a good boy from now on.

  • sandra10
    • LustEnvy

One problem with these vids: Youtube is capped at 30fps, so you can’t see the benefit of 60fps at all.

      • sd28

but you can get the feel of 60fps

  • “at 60fps or even higher”

If the “f” stands for what I think it stands for then the scene before the battle with Prom Date is going to be amazing on PC

  • Wow, looks like Capcom wants DmC to do very well. I wonder if there will be any difference between the console versions and the PC version?

  • So I might be a little late to the party but, is that Dante?

    • sd28

      yep its reboot dante

  • I know the FPS is sort of a big deal with this kind of game, but that’s not where the main problem lies here.

    • Yes it is… I had way more fun with the demo than the entirety of DMC4.

      • Bentan

yup dmc4 was ridiculously easy and almost as bad as dmc2 for me,

  • Is this like an HD remake of the original Devil May Cry?

    • Spider-Man

      No, they’re reboots.

    • eilegz

      i wish but nope

  • Tee Niitris

I know it’s the PC version and all, but I must admit, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and I’m actually starting to buy into this. Still not feeling new Dante, but the game being good is more important anyway.

  • Nitraion

Soo what’s the point making game on console again? ^^”

Because even when the consoles are not powerful enough to make it look this good the DMC fanbase is mostly in the console crowd

    • because not every person in this world had pc with good spec, I dont think my intel VGA kan play this kind of game

      • Nitraion

Yeah me too i have grandpa level of PC too T_T
Seeing a game better on PC like make me console player feel like stupid If I buying console version just saying…

  • Naux

Wow, the gameplay video seems to look alot smoother than what I experienced with the PS3 Demo version. This will be a PC game for me.

  • Demeanor

Impressive. Cool and fast, and yet every move seems calculated with cold precision. :)

  • Göran Isacson

“Provided your computer can handle it”. Aah ha, ha ha, haaa… yeah mine can’t :( I am sad now.

  • malek86

Frankly I’m not sure why one would want to go above 60fps (unless the game supportd 3D). There is this widespread theory that PC gamers want to get as high a framerate as possible, but that only happens when they run benchmarks. Otherwise, for just playing games, Vsync is one of the most requested features (while unfortunately Triple Buffering isn’t requested nearly as much and I often have to force it myself :P).

Well, for me, even though I’m well above the minimum requirements (although honestly, for recommended, a HD6950 sounds a bit too much) I guess I’d pick up the 360 version anyway. Surround and big screen will help.

  • Wake

Somehow I can see this as a Ps4/Xbox 3 launch title.

  • darkfox1

    There there now laptop it’s ok you may not be able to run this game but I sitll love you ;_;

  • Valtiel Ikari

by just looking this video it can clearly be seen that 60fps DO make a BIG diference, unlike many NT suporters where saying, this actually makes me considering geting the game, even if the story line so far is worse than previous Devil May Cry (for the fact that it wants to take itself serious) and “Dante” just comes of as an obscene prick, but this video makes me seriously want to give it a chance, I will just consider it a diferent game to actual Devil May Cry all together, and try to enjoy it on it’s own merit (if there are)
