Pre-Order Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 For Bonus Costumes

By Ishaan . December 19, 2012 . 11:20am

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 reaches North America in February on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and Tecmo Koei have announced a pre-order incentive for the game.

Pre-ordering Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 from GameStop in North America will get you a DLC pack with an extra costume for eight of the game’s playable characters. Pre-ordering the game in Europe (no specific store mentioned) will get you the same. In addition to the eight costumes, you’ll also get a ninth costume for Kenshiro in both territories.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will be released in the U.S. on February 5th and in Europe on February 1st. A Wii U version of the game will be released at a later date.

I thought the game was a download only for the ps3 in the US? How would one get the costumes then? Or does this apply only to the retail versions?

I’m guessing for PS3 you preorder the game on PSN (as PSN allows preorders now), then when it comes to download you get code with it, but if you buy Xbox version you get the code from GameStop.

Edit: meant collector’s edition. Ishaan may wanna update the info that there will be a collector’s edition that would be for France and Italy only:

    sylvester stallone is that you??

  • Argh! Welp… here’s hoping they become FREE downloads to everyone at a later date. I refuse to support LameStop with my money… now this game will be a bargain bin purchase instead of Day 1 purchase due to the LameStop exclusivity. >:( Hopefully then I’ll get the costumes and only pay $20 for the game! Good job Tecmo Koei!
