That’s Joseph. And young Joseph is already in the game.

    • Devinja

You can see Jonathons outline. As well as Johnnys at the end all shadowed up. The logo has an anchor so the Jojo from Part 8 Jojolion is probably in too. What we really need is BAOH!

just like naruto… I have been to lazy to watch manga lately

        • Z3

I really don’t think this will have the manga’s story seeing as not all the characters from the series are in it. Don’t be lazy and watch the anime because that’s what gentlemen do.

  • MrSirFeatherFang

The seiyuu for each character sound well represented. I hope this gets an overseas release somewhere so I can play it in English

  • evilmoogle

    Josuke ftw

  • GO! GO! ED

Looking fabulous as ever. Now we need more part 7 characters to go with Gyro.

      • XiaomuArisu

Because I dio can do whatever the f..k I dio want!

CC2 makes the best looking manga/anime games :) Asura’s Wrath was pretty epic too… I don’t want to sound repetitive, but it still puzzles me to the nth degree why they weren’t asked to handle a new Kenshin game w/ the 15th anniversary and all, instead the classic title got some horrendous OVAs and PSP games (not 1 but 2, was doped by Saisen, good thing didn’t get Kansen) *.*;;; damaging the legacy… Just imagine for a second Kenshin looking like this JoJo game, w/ all the epics moves and manga sound effect across the screen…–%E6%98%8E%E6%B2%BB%E5%89%A3%E5%AE%A2%E6%B5%AA%E6%BC%AB%E8%AD%9A–%E5%AE%8C%E9%86%92/dp/B00861ERJ0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1356201361&sr=8-2

CC2 make great games, yes, but their specialty at least lately, is the over-the-top anime games. JoJo, the UNS games, Asura’s fuckin Wrath, these games are all about turning it up to 11. Kenshin, however, isn’t known for that. The battles were relatively down-to-earth and “realistic” some might say. If CC2 made a Kenshin game, it’d be a good game no doubt, but it wouldn’t be a good Kenshin game.

      • Aoshi00

I think quite a few Kenshin moves are quite over-the-top, Aoshi’s Kaiten Kenbu Rokuren, Sano’s huge Zanbatou and destructive Futae no Kiwami, Kenshin’s Kuzu Ryuu Sen or Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, Shishio’s Fire pillar and explosive moves, Hiko vs. the giant Fuji, Flying Henya, 6 Comrades (Kujiranami’s cannon, Enishi’s Kofuku Zettousei), etc.. The story and background are down to earth, but some of the battles are anything but. That’s Watsuki’s specialty, even the later Busou Renkin and Embalming. I think CC2’s excellent CG anime art style would fit right in. If not a RK game, a Watsuki all-star would be excellent and definitely over the top.

Would CC2 make a good Kenshin game.. I think it would be a resounding yes. I don’t think the mediocre PSP games are that hard to top unfortunately, even regrettable for a quick cash-in (not one, but two)… or you think Saisen/Kansen are the best a Kenshin fighting game could do. If not CC2, why not go 2D like MvC, w/ the double jump and such. I think either style would fit perfectly, w/ a long roster of powerful fighters, like JoJo. It just saddens me that RK being a classic isn’t ever going to get anything better, the 15th anniversary did absolutely nothing for it, other than the live action movie being surprisingly decent. It further saddes me to say, the new Shin-Kyoto OVAs and the games are quite honestly beyond horrendous… I had no idea why I imported the 1st blu-ray or 1st PSP game, good thing I didn’t make the same mistake twice despite the nostalgia…

        • Don

yeah kenshin deserves better and add the fugly revoltech figure to that list.. but that could just be me because i find it unaesthetically appealing..

    • Don

i posted before wanting arc sys to do this JJBA game because i haven’t played UNS games by CC2, but looking at these teasers it ought to be good though.

Wanted arc sys to work on kenshin with the hopes of getting a cross over with sengoku basara cross (coz those 2 are my fave samurai era shows) but cross is from capcom and was outsourced to arcsys so i guess it won’t happen since i believe capcom has no future plans for SB after SB3 as i have read on some interview article here before and if CC2 handled the kenshin games and looked like this yeah so awesome..

edited: some sort of grammar correction i think

  • Dexward

Anyway, I got used to Romi Paku voicing Giorno in that PS2 game.

  • AkuLord3

    Oh god the voices
    Oh God the moves
    Oh God the last Part
Oh god oh man OH GOD OH MAN!

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

I need a new pier of pants

  • StarWarudo

This game shall be my first import ever.

Edit: Oh snap, wasn’t expecting to see Hol-Horse there.

  • Hinataharem

Now I wait for cars. Much better than wham

  • Zonic505

Considering the game was confirmed for EU, seriously hoping that means the US will get it as well, either physical &/or digital.

  • i need this. like, now.

  • jugun

    Gio and Dio all day

  • Spider-Man

Lack of ‘WRYYYYY” makes me sad.

  • Göran Isacson

Game so fabulous it contains double rainbows. so fresh.

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but this is the first time part 6 and part 4 have gotten voice actors, no? Part 5 had a PS2 game, I recall, so maybe they reuse the same VA’s, but in 4 and 6’s case it’s all fresh voices, no? And what fantastic voices they are. Melting just by hearing Jolyne and Hermes do their thang.

Also- I believe the one who voices Dio is Koyasu, but he had a different voice in the first OAV based on JoJo part 3, didn’t he? Was that VA unavailable for some reason, or did they just want a new, more famous one?

    • I assume they want to go with the current anime, who has Koyasu as Dio’s voice actor.

      • Göran Isacson

Ah, that makes sense. Is the old voice actor even alive anymore?

        • MrSirFeatherFang

          Yeah he’s still alive

    • MrSirFeatherFang

I definitely know that Romi Park (Edward Elric) is not Giorno anymore (you can also tell by the trailer). Not sure about Mista though

  • Buying this game is a gentlemen’s jojob.

  • Bueno

New characters look nice. Looking forward to the Phantom Blood characters. Stands and balls and road rollers are all fine ways to fight and all, but sometimes it’s nice to just sit back and

instead, you know what I mean?

  • z_merquise

Koyasu Takehito is really the perfect choice for Dio. His voice for the character in the new anime is really great.

  • dahuuuundge

  • Demeanor

I must say, that was incredible…

  • A little upset they didn’t add trish, koichi, bruno or weather report but I think I can live with the line up. But seriously where the hell are all the villains?
