    “300 New skills”
    *spittake* Damn that’s a lot

    • Testsubject909

How many are actually good and how many actually helps you down along as you progress forward?

If all 300 skills are actually worth a damn in some way shape or form and isn’t just some lightweight nigh negligible addition. Then I’ll join in the spit take.

On a side note. I am now very wary of where you spat.

It’s called creating different character builds, there’s only so many hours you can stay with one character type until you get bored.

Or the fact you usually have 2-3 skills active at a single time, it really limits the builds.

What’s the point in teasing us by watching it. We’re never getting this >_>

      import

    • Testsubject909

      Informing people who import?

      • Haseyo

Don’t you still have to get around the IP block? Just doesn’t seem worth the effort / money to me.

      Information. Better know than not.

300 skills that do what? and 4 new elements? damn i’m so behind on my monster hunter

  • Namuro

    It’s Shenlong!!

Anyway, seeing the landscapes and the monsters going about their business like that, I really wish they would make a CG documentary on the world of Monster Hunter.

Wth we get crappy ff xi but not this??

    • Paradox me

Aside from Final Fantasy XI being one of the best MMOs of all time, especially at the time of its release, Final Fantasy was/is a much stronger brand than Monster Hunter in the West. Plain and simple.

      • gamefreak86

Best MMO of all time, questionable. However it was very ambitious for its time. My gripe with this is the Western PC market dwarfs Japanese PC gaming and yet they never bothered to release it here. Ironically they also released it for 360 which is shit in Japan and huge in the West. Also Ff is recognizable because its an established brand. MH never receives any marketing out here. Hell I didn’t even know about it until my best friend got a PSP and showed it to me. I got the PSP cuz of that.

This looks so great. The only MH game I have played was the Wii one, and I loved it, and have been waiting for a new game since. (Happy as heck for the Wii U one.)

I know this game has yet to make a US release yet. Is the main reason why this is because they are not sure it will make money here in america? This game is huge in Japan, bigger then WoW, do they not think it will work here? The gameplay alone would grab people. However, I do know it doesn’t sell hugely here, but really I think Capcom just needs to advertise the game more. They go crazy for RE and SF advertizing, and if they do that for monster hunter I think it will go well.

I honestly wouldn’t get my hopes high for Frontier. I haven’t played it personally, but every impression I’ve seen of it from more invested Monster Hunter players is that it’s a less rewarding grind-festy game that is often well behind the proper games in terms of innovations and features.

Frontier, to my knowledge, was based on Freedom Unite for several years, and it’s only recently that they’ve begun to update the game to try and bring it up to date with Gen-3 Monster Hunter conventions.

If you want a MH type MMO there is always RaiderZ.

I’m still hoping we will get an international release of this game soon. xD

Beriorosu clone and amatsumagasuchi clone? cool story capcom

  • konsama

Hmm so we got poke ludroth, poke bariouga, and amatsu knockoff brother…

Well it’s areal fight, was the only thing it was missing. It’s just me, but i don’t like that too cartoonish look, i preferred the 2nd gen one, even 3rd gen MH won’t look as cartoonish.
