Big Pokémon News Coming For North America Next Week

Recommended Videos

As reported last week, big Pokémon news of some sort is headed our way on January 8th. A teaser displayed at the end of a Pokémon Black/White 2 trailer in Japan mentioned the reveal, and the news soon made its way onto the net.

This upcoming big news may not just be for Japan, however.

The official Pokémon Twitter account for North America just tweeted: “Pokémon fans, mark your calendars! Check https://Pokemon.com on January 8th for some big news!”

It’s unusual for a new Pokémon game to be announced simultaneously in both Japan and North America, but Pokémon Black/White 2 were announced internationally shortly after being revealed in Japan. Either way, we don’t have long to wait before we find out.
