As previously reported, Dead Space 3 on the Xbox 360 will support Microsoft’s Kinect peripheral, allowing for voice commands in co-op mode, which you can use instead of button presses. Voice commands allow you to find your objective, give ammo to your partner, reload and more. See how it works below:

Dead Space 3 will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 5th, 2013 in North America.

They’re trying their best to make it look scary…

This and Mass Effect 3, how is this any better than if they implemented commands through a headset? For a casual 3rd person shooter or beginner Dead Space player, I can see this being helpful to lessen the fumbling of buttons during tense moments. Otherwise kinda a useless feature to hype up to this extent… Just my $0.02.

I can’t imagine a game with voice commands being scary. :/

My thoughts exactly. I love the Dead Space but I don’t want this to turn into a FEAR 3. It was fine with Mass Effect 3 but it just doesnt seem like it fits in this case. (No pun intended)
