Fire Emblem: Awakening’s Miriel Is An Obsessive Researcher

By Ishaan . January 11, 2013 . 12:00pm

Three more character profiles from Fire Emblem: Awakening have been shared on Nintendo’s 3DS Facebook page. This time, we’re looking at Stahl, Vaike and Miriel.

Stahl from Fire Emblem Awakening is a Shepherd with a big heart and a good head on his shoulders. He is very attentive and kind to others.

A Shepherd who considers himself Chrom’s rival, Vaike has a loud personality and more confidence than his ability warrants.

Miriel from Fire Emblem Awakening is a Shepherd who adores her research and obsesses over her studies. She’s quiet and organized but can be tough towards people who are careless.

Fire Emblem: Awakening will be released in North America on February 4th. Prior to its release, the game will get a demo on the Nintendo eShop on January 17th.

  • The great thing about FE is that all the characters are different – love ’em or hate ’em – you want to keep them all alive with that permadeath. Now, with these additional short character bios, I’m even more determined to keep them alive. Bring on April!

    • MrTyrant

I always determined to keep them alive if they have endings or marriage events with other characters, when not Im so annoyed that I left them die at least the weak ones.

That’s why I didn’t like the latest Fire Emblems.

      • While a really negative aspect, even to me, I found it an extra incentive to keep them alive, but there are times you can’t keep everyone alive. So emotional.

        • andref

Though I find one game to seem a bit annoying when, if you are like me and want to keep characters alive, certain recruitables will only show up after a number of people die

  • Wow, Vaike’s left hand looks so wrong if you’re not careful..

    • AnimusVox

I was thinking the same thing but you beat me to it.

  • Izzy Miyake

Oh man I’m so hyped for this game.

But at the same time my reset button is gonna get abused >< must………not……….let…………anyone……….die………….

    • You could always play on Easy mode. That’s what it’s there for. :P

      • andref

Man that’s for wusses, i would rather challenge my tactics legitimately

  • SetzerGabbiani

I don’t know what Famitsu was talking about when they knocked the character designs…these are pretty damn good.

  • Pockystix

    I’ve already chose a certain curse-crazy girl

it works, since she doesn’t care about what gender your Avatar is~

  • puchinri

More swooning over more awesome sounding characters. Waiting is so hard~.
